What is your favorite bootleg
just wondering what everyone's fave bootleg is, Audio and Video?
For Me it would be Audio = She's Got Balls / October 16, 1979 -- State College, Towson, MD, USA Video = Rock Goes to College - Chanantes Upgrade / October 28, 1978 -- Essex University, Colchester, England
Audio - Dallas '85 I don't have a favorite video bootleg. I've yet to see any that live up to my standards of quality.
Audio: 1.) 1984-09-02 - Stadion Am Dutzendteich, Nurnberg, Germany 2.) 1984-08-25 - Monsters Of Rock Raasunda (Stockholm - Sweden) FLick of the Switch Tour is one of my favourites eras of AC/DC As for the video bootlegs: I cant decide there are so many faves I have
Audio - Dallas '85 as well, (I can't get over how good it is,I love it) Close Second - Booze Blues and Tattoo's Nashville '78 (Sound is almost flawless) Video - Let There Be Rock:The Movie (Bon in his prime, great show) Close Second - Civic Center '85 (You get to see the band up close in '85,probably the best footage of that era) That's it for me,although I love Townson's sound too
audio id say san francisco 1977 video maybe detroit '85? or maybe the "secret show" i might be just saying that since its great to see boots of shows ya went to
August 16, 1986 -- Cal Expo Amphitheater, Sacramento, CA, USA 1) she's got balls 2) Fly on the wall awsome quality, and a hell of a show i hear from my principall.
For audio soundboards Sydney 1977, Amsterdam 1979, and Phoenix 2000. For video Bon's best is now official so East Rutherford 2008 and Donnington 1984.
Probably 11/17/83 Detroit since I was there and it was my 1st concert and still the best. Strictly going by all-time favorite....probably 9/3/77 San Francisco simply because Up To My Neck In You and Kicked In The Teeth are on there.
Audio - Definitely Sept 1977 San Francisco. Not only does it have those great rare tracks, but Bon TEARS IT UP, and I love the soundboard mix - so much raw power. Video - I really like the Japan proshot from the early 80s and for audience I like the NY MSG from July 12, 1991.
my favourite bootlegs are: only audio: 1.- Jan 12, 1996 Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, NC, USA because acdc played Who Made Who :) 2.- June 22, 2001 -- Stade de France, Paris, France because they played played Ride On :)
Audio: Dirty Big Balls From 12-03-1979 In Berlin Video: 12-21-1981 Largo
Hmm... gotta think about this one... Audio: 7/10/1996 (Hola Madrid!) Video: 9/13/2000 (Phoenix Uprising)
Audio Bon era - Probably either 30/01/77 Sydney Australia or Nearing the end of the highway (1979) Brian era - Alive in Irene 1986 (Soundboard) Video Bon era - Undecided Brian - Either Rio 1985 or Houston Texas 1983 (I know its not a bootleg but it's an amazing show)
