High Quality Bootlegs
Hello everyone- I'm new to the AC/DC bootlegging thing, so please pardon me if this is an unusual request. Basically right now I'm interested in high quality shows. Specifically I'd like to have the complete audio for Plaza del Toros, th VH1 Studios show, and the Black Ice show from Charlotte, NC (12.18.2008). If anyone has these and is willing to share, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, if anyone happens to have any great quality shows they'd recommend, they would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome to this wonderful site, run by the greatest guy ever Nate (aka BigNate.)
I'd Recommend Nashville '78 Booze Blues and Tattoos Hammersmith '79 Austin Texas '85 Dallas Texas '85 Hammersmith '82 (October 16th Is the one you want) Phoenix '00 Shooting From The Hip Those are all great sounding boots, almost live album worthy, some are actually. Check this place out http://sites.google.com/site/shoottothrill666/ This guy posts the best quality shows from each tour from 1976 to 2003.I'm guessing it's not been updated in a while, but it's still great. Also, FYI if you get an adult content warning, don't worry there's nothing like that on there,it does it on mine but I've seen not tits so it should be good, lol -Cheers Here's Charlotte NC http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TJW3R4CZ Hope that helped =)
I was there in Charlotte NC that night! The boot flickofthethunderdeeds provided is great one. For more boots check out this site: http://z10.invisionfree.com/Black_Ice_Bootlegs/index.php?
Thanks very much to everyone who replied! It's great to see so many other diehard AC/DC fans around...most everybody I know thinks I'm crazy. Right now my interest is in albums that are good listening quality; I'm not sure I want to get into the cataloging with an aim of having them all. I really appreciate the good quality links; sifting through the poorer quality stuff has been taking a lot of time! And BJohnsonFan, it was an awesome concert. I was upper level but even still, Brain really outdid himself. I've got the same old complaints about the setlist, but when I was there I was up and shouting for every one. I'm really hoping they do at least one more tour before calling it quits, and I've already decided to go for a front row seat even if it costs me my soul. I'm also on the look out for a hat like Brian's. I'd love to have it for a show but it also looks pretty cool for everyday wear. All the flatcaps I've found though have been the more conventional older gentleman type. It's a longshot, but with so many serious fans I thought I'd mention it incase someone has a suggestion.
Wow...I've spend all evening checking out shoottothrill's google site and rivalaboot. I came across a couple of albums that didn't work, however. Anyone know where I can find Moon Over My Hammy or Return of the Phoenix? Thanks again guys!
Flicko, I don't like peope who steal links and post them on other sites. Next time, please indicate the site you got them from and the uploader. At least, you'd be giving consideration to those people who work hard to run sites and to those who upload links for your usage. Otherwise, there is no scope for running boot sites and hiding links!
Oops... Suppose I Should have said, taken from http://z10.invisionfree.com/Black_Ice_Bootlegs/index.php My apologies, I was a little pissed yesterday when I was typing that, someone stole my iPod,which sucks for me cause I had all my AC/DC on it. Of course, now I still got my CD's so It's not a total loss, still pisses me off,I can't stand a thief. Anyways, lol -Cheers
Steve, with regards to the hat, if you Google "newsboy cap", you should find plenty of online stores that carry what you're looking for. You're probably going to spend between $30 and $50 before shipping though.
Thanks Brain; I think that'll do it! I'd say that price range is reasonable for a quality cap.
It's not totally complete (1 or 2 songs missing I think) but this is a good site and that Phoenix gig is the first one http://acdcboots.blogspot.com/
Oh yeah and this link is kinda the same as above but I've found some pretty good ones here. It has that Austin gig in '85 that flickofthethunderdeeds mentioned http://vivalesbootlegs.blogspot.com/search/label/AC-DC
Thanks for Re-upping the Charlotte Show on 12/18/2008. I tried downloading it a few weeks ago and the link was broken. Much appreciated though, I've been looking for that show for awhile.
