Possible New Bootleg Not Well Known/Heard By Many
Ok,so I've recently came into a new bootleg that I'm fairly certain hasn't leaked yet. It's a soundboard Blow Up Your Video Era Tour with Stevie Young on Rhythm. It's a great sounding boot that I got from some guy online.Who Made Who sounds fantastic, best Simon Era version Live I've heard.Better than Alive In Irvine's version as far as sound quality.Almost as good maybe better than Melbourne's sound. I plan on posting it here as soon as I separate it into individual tracks, and make Art Work for it. Supposedly the guy I got it from got it from Stevie himself,For Those About To Rock is absent due to the tape running out.He also said,he's only gave about 10 copies out so this one's a rarity.Ripped from a Cassette tape. He's gonna get back to me on the date, I think it's either October 23rd or 25th 1988,he's supposed to give me the info. some time today, when he finds the tape.He did say Johnson City Indiana was the state/city it's in,from his memory. So...what do you guys think, Is it as rare as I think or not? I've not heard it before, nor could I find any info. on it what so ever, also neither October 23rd nor the 25th are listed as a show date. I Googled it and they did play a show on the 25th,a ticket stub exists,so I'm leaning towards that date until he tells me other wise. If anyone here has any clue about this show,or boot please contact me,Can't wait to share it if you've not heard it yet Thanks guys, -Cheers
Also,I made sure to ask him if he minded me posting it on youtube or sharing it with anyone/you guys,he gave me the ok. Just so ya know =)
Just listened again, Highway To Hell, and T.N.T. Are Gone Too... Show ends with Let There Be Rock which is weird, Brian says "Good Night,See Ya!" At the end of the after solo
@Flick, Damn good question. I ripped that version of Heatseeker Track 1 from the youtube post several weeks ago. It probably is a soundboard. The guy had wrong information on the original post as far as the date. Just going by the Johnson City, TN info., it should be October 23, 1988. If he truly got it from Stevie, then why are so many of the last tracks of the concert missing? What proof during the concert (Brian speaking) is there that this is truly Indiana?
I've not listened to it enough to hear Indiana references, but that's what the guy said. What's weird is,it seems Let There Be Rock might actually be the closing song.I hear no edits at all which would suggest Brian's closing phrase was at the end of For Those About To Rock. (why some one would edit it is beyond me,but ya never know) The thing is,there isn't really any information about this show to go on,maybe For Those wasn't played... (Due to the arena/stadium being too small,as has happened before) but then that leads to the question, where is T.N.T. and Highway To Hell? The guy, also never said it was a complete show,so maybe that's all that he was given, who knows, but I know it's a Soundboard for a fact, Excellent quality that's for sure. I'm working on the Album Art now...thinking of a good name for it, Like maybe "Malcolm's Vacation" "The Rise Of Stevie Young" Or something along those lines relating to his absence. but first I need to confirm a date before anything's final. -Cheers
you should post at least one song on youtube i wanna hear it lol. is it live Irvine and Melbourne where there is hardly any crowd noise? or no
Irvine's not got much crowd noise, I'll put the whole show up,just as soon as my Art Work is done, which should be today, One song's already on youtube, check it out Quality improves through each song Great sounding boot
Flick, would you be posting this as a lossless download at all, or just an mp3/youtube version? From the sounds of it, I'm sure many of us would be very interested in adding this to our collections.
Something of this spectacular quality should be ripped as WAV or FLAC and posted on Dime or some such site, as is. Then you can just post an MP3 320 kbps version downcoded from the WAV to rapidshare or megaupload and it would make an awesome download for those who don't want to bother with FLAC files...
Well,as of now all I have is an mp3 of it.Now,if the guy would rip me a FLAC version it'd be great.I prefer FLAC over lossy any day. I don't want to bother him too much, but I'll ask him to see what he says. He hasn't replied to my last message yet about the dates yet,I'd really like to have that cleared up. It's a real cracker though,I'll post some of it today (Art work is unfinished but I can always finish it later) Art work was inspired by a ticket from '88 http://acdc-bootlegs.com/imageviewer/?id=3571.jpeg
Here's Who Made Who Just another sample of the boot Remember Album Art NOT finished, -Cheers
Update about FLAC/lossless version Quote from the guy himself Hi mate, I shall be copying all my bootlegs over, on a much higher quality versions! MP3. I shall do this one first and let you know when I've done it...and in fact, you can have both WMA version and High quality MP3 version. Can't get any better than than mate! Just bear with me,I have to fit some time in to do it. Which I intend to do anyway. End Quote So, there you have it, That's what he said
so why not at least rip it to .wav burn it to CD and send it to you by mail
why not just rar the thing and put it on megaupload or rapidshare or similar, its the music ppl want not artwork
Yeah I know it's not the artwork they want, He doesn't use any file sharing sites. Which is a hassle on my part, but there is this: If you want the show now in mp3 here you go,but it's not separate tracks http://cid-1d5cbded3ee727f0.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.res/1D5CBDED3EE727F0!112 WAV. when I work that out, til' then enjoy!!!
This is wonderfull So what is the exact date and venue?
Hi flick! Thank you very much, awesome boot. Hope you will find out the date. Cheers!
Unfortunately he hasn't messaged me yet... I'll ask him today and see,a shame I can't confirm anything for any of you,but I'm trying my best. -Cheers I'll update when I can
Well thats the best bootleg I´ve ever heard from this tour.

Thank You Daclarob!!!!! Think that pretty much clarifies it, -Cheers
Thank you, Dave, for info! @flick: Is it possible, you can make single tracks and repost the bootleg again? Thanks. Cheers.
If it's the same Boot as the one I have, then it's not listed here on "Nates" site... Johnson City, USA 23rd October 1988. Recorded by Stevie Young while standing in for Mal.
