David Mallet
Ok,just some general questions about Mallet. 1.How long has he been working with the band? 2.What was his first project with them? I know he directed the You Shook Me and Who Made Who videos. So that means he's been there since '86. 3.Did he direct Stiff Upper Lip Live? Donington and No Bull are Mallet, but I don't know if he did this or not. 4.Did he direct the Stiff Upper Lip music videos? I know he directed Rock 'N Roll Train and Anything Goes 5.Did he direct Buenos Aires? By the Shoot To Thrill Iron Man 2 video it appears so,but I can't say. So that's about it,just curious about his works. He seems like a great director, and I'm a fan. He's got an extensive resume as well. -Cheers
Here is what i know flick. 1. about 25 years 2. Shook me all night long was their first video 3. He did not direct SUL live, a guy named nick morris did 4. He did not direct the videos also. 5. I think he did direct the BA show He is a great director that's why the band likes him!
That's what I thought, thanks man Buenos Aires looks great, wish i could say it sounded great, but we'll just have to see. Going by Circus Krone I think Buenos Aires will be the best since No Bull. Judging by amateur videos from the show and everything, they sound great.Way better than than Stiff Upper Lip Live.Angus and Brian seem to be on top of their game this tour, setlist aside it's a great show.
I agree with the BA videos, my favorite parts on SUL live are Thunderstruck and the crowd clapping on shoot to thrill the crowd was very wild that night it was filmed! I hope the clapping crowd will be on the BA DVD during shoot to thrill, it was amazing! I hope they use Dec 2nd night for the dvd! This youtube video speaks for it self! Here's a list of all the videos he's done: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mallet_(director)
The InterTubes also features a website where you can look up directors, actors, producers, etc and find out everything they've ever worked on. Here's David Mallet's page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0539950/
Mallet has been working with the boys since '86. His first project with them was the video for "Who Made Who". He didn't direct 'Stiff Upper Lip Live" that was done by Nick Morris. He also did not direct any of the promo videos for the "Stiff Upper Lip" album either. As far as I know, he directed The shows in Argentina.
