Excellent Townson '79 PERFECT Quality
This show is freakin' fantastic, I've always considered it to one of the best Bon era bootlegs,it's been out quite some time. Today I stumbled upon this website that's called Wolf Gang's Vault it has a ton of Live show from various acts, some you can download free others you have to buy. This is the only AC/DC show they have and unfortunately it isn't for sale or download but you can stream it. This is the best version I've heard of this show, the crowd's not all compressed sounding like most of the versions I've heard before, this sounds almost live album quality. Use the link below,it's a player that you can listen to the full show,I'm in love with the quality they've managed to get with it. Let There Be Rock Is Also In Perfect Quality,if anyone can rip this show into lossles FLAC please do. Every version I can find sound compressed and the crowd has almost been removed from it completely. Live Wire Shot Down In Flames Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be Sin City Problem Child Bad Boy Boogie The Jack Highway To Hell High Voltage Whole Lotta Rosie/Rocker If You Want Blood/Let There Be Rock If those links don't work try this http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/concerts/player.html?type=concert&ConcertID=20052169|122&StartTrackID=10 -Cheers
Ah,crap it's streaming at 96 kbps ,you have to be a WVIP to get 192 kbps streams...cost money Forget the lossless rip!!! Still awesome though
It wouldn't surprise me if they just downloaded it from one of the bootleg blog sites and downscaled it to stream online. Here's a link to one of the blogs for the remastered 24 bit recording of the show: http://vivalesbootlegs.blogspot.com/2009/02/acdc-shes-got-balls-stage-college.html Enjoy. This is one of my favorites.
I've already had that version from Viva Las Bootlegs... It's great no doubt but somethings off with the crowd for some reason it sounds over compressed, Thanks anyways though
Just listening to some tracks now. It has a nice thick sound to it. I'll need to listen to my She's Got Balls recording again and see how it compares...
I've never heard this concert's version of LTBR before, even on some of the crappy rips going around. I have to say that it's downright awesome.
Let There Be Rock is the real gem off of this version, best version from this show I think. They some how have gotten a good rip or copy, too bad it's only for listening and not download or purchase. I'd buy this in a heart beat
I could easily rip it, its just i dont think its worth it with the preview quality...
The version I have sounds identical to Wolfgang's Vault's version. I have an actual lossless version of this in FLAC (includes 13 tracks). I downloaded it from who knows where. I forget, but the file I downloaded was: AC.1979-10-16.Towson.FLAC.by.T.U.B.E.zip
I've had plenty of versions, and everyone (lossless too) has not had the sound these have.Even at 96kbps these sound better, which is strange, lol. That whol show would have been great for Backtracks.
this was awesome,IYWB sounded awesome along with LTBR
