I think Malcolm's son said something like: "One more and that's it" And then he got asked if they would keep touring and he said no

I think so, but don't believe what anybody tells you because nobody really knows.

suicidehummer is right. Until it's not officialy confirmed, don't believe anything. Some years ago, the new AC/DC album was "Dirty Rhythm" remember? I really hope they release an album, and if it doesn't have new songs, I hope it have re-recorded versions of their classics, I've always loved re-recorded versions...

I don't think they will do a re-record of another album but if they were to do it, I would love them to do FOTS with bass and balls, now that would be tasty, always felt the album was underrated, maybe due to its crap production.

I've heard a re-record of We're Not Gonna Take It...sounds good...so I don't see why AC/DC can't. Call it a "Live In The Studio" album or something, where they do about 10 (so it'd be two from each member) of THEIR personal favorite songs that AC/DC's wrote and recorded. They could possibly do 12 so they could do two Bon songs that he was known to love. They could also throw in around 3-5 covers, including School Days and Baby Please Don't Go...

Twisted Sister's Re-Records sounded great So Did KISS's Re-Records,Gene Simmons has never sounded better I think if they did do it,they'd be fantastic. but, It would be in a studio like the VH1 studios videos, probably

Well, the VH1 sessions were nice...and just about everybody who's ever performed on SNL has had at least two songs re-recorded (that audience is too polite to bands). But if you were to re-record some of the Bon-era songs, they'd probably come out better since the recording technology would make it sound better...no offense to Vanda/Young, but the first few albums sounded a bit too raw.

I liked that rawness.

Vanda/Young made the rawness back then, because it represented the boys in there earlier days. I donīt like the idea to listen to a polited version of the Powerage or LTBR album.

On acdc having two albums left on there contract, does Backtracks and Iron man 2 not count? Because they would have fulfilled their contract with them then?? I'll always like AC/DC, may not like them continually playing the same basic setlist for 20 years but that can be changed simply by doing a couple of one of gigs with older/never played songs live.

Well a few years ago I wouldīve said "Better not." But now with the succes of Black Ice and there tour, they probably should do so. But ah I remember in 2007 they released Plug Me In. So they made one too many album for it. But now there is the surprise Plug Me In was a DVD Box set. backtracks is a CD/DVD Boxset. And Iron Man isnīt an album. So I asume that there will be one or two new albums. But then the devil circle would continue as like with Black Ice imho. I just would wish they would do a tour like Judas Priest did. They used to make a 10 song tour, but only with classics and rare or never played songs. But ohwell AC/DC is not Iron Maiden or Metallica or Priest. So we only can wait if they stop their stubornness and surprise or they realy sell out like Sapator said ;) Iīll be waiting...

IDK... I don't think I wanna hear a rerecord of any old Brian songs with his new singing voice...
