Riff Raff, 05-May-10Accept To Open For Their Heroes AC/DC In Hanover, Germany Accept is proud to announce that will be special guests AC/DC for their Hannover, Germany show scheduled for May 25th. Since AC/DC is the band for EVERYBODY in ACCEPT they are honored to sharing the stage with their all time heroes. Accept will play the only cover song it has ever recorded — "I'm A Rebel," which originally appeared on the band's second album. "I'm A Rebel" was written for AC/DC by Alex Young (older brother of Malcolm and Angus Young), but it was never recorded by the Australian hard rock legends. The new lineup of Accept will play its first-ever sold out concert this Saturday, May 8th at the 750-capacity New York City's Gramercy Theatre. Following the New York City show, Accept will head to Europe to perform special gigs in carefully handpicked venues in various European capitals. ACCEPT 2010 is: Wolf Hoffmann: Guitar Peter Baltes: Bass Herman Frank: Guitar Mark Tornillo: Vocals Stefan Schwarzmann: Drum

Sapator Seems like you missed that news. Well I tell you about it. Original Udo & Stefan (on guitar instead then Herman Frank) were planned to record the new Accept CD. Apparently Udo didn´t wanted to quit U.D.O. for just one new Accept CD. So yeah then after that some one suggest Mark to Wolf and Peter and they were stunned by his vocal skills (he even sounds like Brian and Udo though) So yeah I am waiting how the new CD sounds like. But I am surprised that Accept is opening for AC/DC (I would wish, that Airbourne is opening for AC/DC)

Accept? Great! I would prefer them with Udo, but perhaps the new singer is ok, too. Anybody knows who's opening in Stuttgart? I hope, Accept will play there, too!!

BTW: is someone going to record Accept and AC/DC? Would be awesome imo. And yeah I want to see how this new Accept line up is doing live. @ Sapator: If you ever reply to this post, then let me tell you, that I think that Accept is kinda overhyped imho. Mainly because of the band name.

Overhyped is overestimated or underestimated? I think they are way underestimated except maybe Germany and...Austria? When they came here they probably had 500 fanatics tops.

Well yeah I think I didn´t really explained it that much. Well seeing from the fact, that Accept returned was a surprise for me. But then I hear so much news like "Accept is back" or "Accept is one of the important Metal reunions these days" Well I will lay back and wait till september, when the new tune is out for sale. And yeah if you wanna listen to one of the new songs then go here: http://www.myspace.com/accepttheband
