It's an awesome movie. Only one problem...two out of the 15 songs on the soundtrack, were played: Shoot To Thrill and Highway To Hell. What the hell was that all about? There was perfect times to play most of the songs, and they used either: another bands music, or just some random band thing. Oh well. Awesome movie though so I say go see it, its worth it.

I agree, two tracks from 15!!! It must be the Sony marketeers again, how embarassing that it made number 1 in the UK, when I was at school in 1979, I was the only person in my year who knew about 'dc!!! Incidentally, at the end of the movies' credits it claims that HTH was written by Young, Young and Johnson!!! Classic case of cashing in AND not doing the homework. The film sucks, sorry!!!

Well, Let There Be Rock The Movie called it "Sun City." It's not exactly Sony's fault on that, since movies are often produced by another company and distributed by a big company like Sony. How many "Happy Madison" productions are there? The Longest Yard remake is produced by Adam Sandler's company, but distributed by Columbia (Sony). PS: The original CD release of Back In Black on Atlantic didn't mention the mastering engineer. Also, the title of track 4: Givin The Dog A Bone, or is it Given The Dog A Bone?

I think thatīs not Dcīs fault at all. Its just Sony taking the opportunity to gain more money. I bet the band just agreed, that there songs were used for the movie, but I believe they donīt know the whole fact. I think they only agree because of the "Hey look there is a badass movie from Marvel and they want your music in it" And well like Angus said, they try to make all people to get AC/DC into their attention. Blaming a band for a record company is just sad.

Nop. They did it for the money.Clear and simple. When you have proclaimed that WMW would be the first and last soundtrack then....Ah, wait a minute. Maximum overdrive vs Iron Man 2?Hahaha. In the first you get a bad film but you wanna go and view it again for the music. In the second you get 2 rip off's.First the AC/DC music that you just made sure (i viewed the film with my skip-skip-hooray technique) to me that it is not there and the second rip off is that IM2 proclaims to be a kick ass action movie...Well except that THERE IS NO ACTION! 3 fast action scenes all over this crappy peace of crappness. Ok i agree with you Patrick that it's not Sony to say how the music will be in the film (aka they don't care anyway) but i clearly blame the band for a record company, when they agree to do the trusty dog at whatever they tell them to.Boxsets,Films,23 color cd's,again boxsets, etc. They only thing that they were able to do by themselves is ruin my vacation in france with their 2 years s(h)ame setlist stubbornness.Ok that they did it all by themselves, good work. P.S. Ah, and Brian getting inside info to tell us to Fuck off. Post now 2 coming.....

I was talking to a friend of mine that is a Rock DJ,producer, the lot. Anyway it gave me info on the metal-rock community in Greece(i'm proud NOT to be one of them) and almost everyone claims that they have sold out. It's good to have a solid sample because,WITH EXCEPTION ON MOST OF THE GUYS ON THIS SITE,USA market is not the best sample because people go hypnotized and buy anything on AC/DC and believe that AC/DC haven't sold out and that all the fans that saying so are a$$es. I think i was one of the first, talking of them being sold out and founded the AC$DC logo.I WAS sad when i was getting the sold out hits, one after the other but i finally developed my anti-sold out immunity and i really don't care less of the inflammable AC/DC puppets they walk on the set these days(although Ang inflammable is water proof) . For me, they are dead so if they want to be vampires (aka resurrect)they should: Drop Sony or stop waving their tales at sony, change the setlist (:P), stop bombarding us with useless boxsets, release unheard material, and Mal apologize for makin Brian says Haaappy F#ck em to youuu, to us. If they don't do these(most of them anyway) Quit, if they care for they after fame or do a final album a tour and then quit. Anyway grasping from LiveWire101 example, more and more people will wake up and see what they are doing to a good ol band called AC/DC. And a final word.I was proud that most of the bands went sold out or made crappy albums or they didn't perform on stage and my favorite band was, unspoiled. Now i'm proud that i had the guts to give the finger to the best band i have ever seen and listen (figure photo goes here).

Well this facts are true. And since I am going to see them in Wels, then I can tell mif they really are THAT stuborn to play the same set again (would be a shame if they do that again) And well I canīt disagree with you there. It is true that only Shoot to Thrill and H2H are the only songs in the movie. Plus the fact what Brian said. Maybe he was upset how some fans are really seeing them with there setlist. And well there is one fact that I also like to say. A guy hated the production of H2H from the Buenos Aires concert on the Iron Man 2 DVD. And he also said he is a bit concered about the quality for the Black Ice Tour DVD. Since the whole DVD lacks of quality. So yeah either way this Tour/Album/Boxsets/Movies/Re-releases are a lose/lose situation in my eyes. And yeah now we get a special Backtracks CD with *sarcasm on*unreleased footage*sarcasm off* I wonder how Bon would have react to all that stuff that happened in the past 2 years.

That is (about Bon) a good question Patrick. I used to think Brian was one of the more "down to earth" celebrities you will ever meet (have a look at the top gear episode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6np_yjHoL0 ), so i prefer not to think how Bon would have fitted but if i wanna make a thought that would be that he would have gave them the finger after the Razor's Edge and quit (making the to quit also). I mean i love Razor album but all that "polishing" would have gone to Bon's blood really bad.

Two songs? I'm glad to know that going in. I've been looking forward to seeing this movie FOREVER and now I hardly care whether I see it i the theater or not. I defended them for Backtracks, but I don't think I can put a positive spin on this one.

I agree with most of the comments posted that in essence the band are not to blame necessarily for Iron Man 2 and can't have a hand in all the detail, and as we all know the devil is always in the detail. It is unknown just what effect the death of the greatest rock n roll singer of a generation had on the popularity of the band, and we will never know if the same marketing would exist with the band as it does today if Bon was still fronting the band. But in criticism of the band, you only need to look at the last 5 years and the number of releases of various types that have been made, surely the band have to give the nod for this to happen, so in many ways we have to collectively blame the band and its various agents for the endless stream of gimmicky releases.

But the question is why they are doing this all. I mean they have a huge fan base who supports them, so they donīt need to do all that junk.

My guess(certainty) is that they collect as many $$ as possible to leave to their children. They have proven that they don't give a f#ck about the hardcore fans. They only need the cash. All what is said about caring for the fans and we should be glad that they still tour would have a base if they didn't do all the sold out and of course the setlist change would prove if they did care or not.Instead we got a f#ck em. Do you think that they will stop here?I am the one proclaiming that the DVD would be from Europe but i won't be surprised if they release more than one DVD for this tour. The only sold out band that i'm aware that did this is Manowar.Expect another boxset and remember that Malcolm said that they are not arsholes to release a best of.Well except form Iron Man 2,proclaimed to be a soundtrack but as it turns out is a something of a best of,expect another Best of. Anyway i'm not buying anything from them anymore so i don't really care what they will release.Ah, except if they do release Let there be rock that many people here were sure that it will be out 2 months ago... Also i saw on a rock store some things that made me laugh. Iron man 2 cd, Iron man 2 cd - dvd,Backtacks and mini backctracks and of course the most ridiculous of all Iron Man 2 LP.

But if they continue to release stupidities and you continue to buy them, they will not stop. That's why i was extremely surprised that some people bought Iron Man 2 set. Can you please tell me why did you buy this?I mean, please tell us the reason, i'm very curious to know. The HTH live track?I gave you the whole DVD to the ones pm me. The cover? The LP?Why the hell did you buy this and also i really would like to know if you have regret it or not.Can someone answer?I'm not attacking you but i'm really really stunned that intelligent human beings that are on this site, so they know what's going on,are consciously buying a pure rip-off.

Well sap I canīt understand it either in buying the Iron Man 2 soundtrack. Maybe thos people who buyed only buyed Black Ice and now the get there chance to get the *sarcasm on*best songs*sarcasm off* Heck I do love "FOTS" and "FOTW" "BUYV". They are some great underrated albums. Same goes for "Ballbreaker" and "SUL" So yeah, on May 22th I will see if the continue with their stubborn same setlist or surprise me with a couple of other songs.

You will know sooner that 22..At 14. Heck Bulgaria is just 500 km from here and i could have a free ticket if i wanted but i'm not in the mood to see them. There is no way i will cheer for them in the gig so there is no point just to go there and stay silent or start giving fingers to them and start a fight or something.
