ok,i dont know if this has been discussed yet but, what the hell is the deal with this. i cant seem to be able to confirm why was this soundtrack released, after realizing two songs were in the movie and there was so much more different music in the film, it doesnt make any sense. Why on earth was this released, is it a joke? all this big advertising of the soundtrack, the music videos, why was it not used or why does this album even exist, why wasnt there just a normal soundtrack featuring AC/DC, i need answers, thanks guys

To all blaming Sony and say that the poor misfortune AC/DC are not to blame. Do you know why 12 of the best were not release back in 70something?Go look it up and then come back and argue.

thats because they dont believe in Greatest Hits collections, but this is basically just a compilation with a falsely advertised title

Compilation, Greatest hits. Tomato Tomatto. Do AC/DC really have the power to stop this?I'm not so sure. They break a contract they have to pay back $$.I don't think they would like that :) The only way i can see, is if they retire but then again we may start getting the greatest "compilation" hits.

im just looking to know who approved the following idea "hmm lets put out this AC/DC compilation CD that says to be the soundtrack of Iron Man 2, when in reality were only gunna use two songs and the rest other bands, and lets promote this cd with a bonus dvd and two music videos featuring Iron Man 2 footage" and personally, i was kinda excited for Cold Hearted Man, less than a year ago it was nothing more than a "rarity" i never thought would make CD, and i actually thought itd be cool to be in a movie

I have to admit I'm disappointed, too. I really like the Iron Man 2 compilation - it plays great in my iTunes, but I was really looking forward to hearing how the songs would be utilized in the film. I had visions of Cold Hearted Man playing as we saw Mickey Rourke's bad guy and War Machine playing as the War Machine character flew alongside Iron Man. So much for that... I'll wait for video for this one and save my money for Christopher Nolan's Inception instead. As for the level of AC/DC's responsibility on this one - they signed the contract with Sony almost a decade ago, so they must have known what they were in for. They also had to sign some papers to release this compilation, so it's not like they're free from responsibility on this one, either...

As far as I can guess there is flaw in the contract that says, the company has a right to use material for profital ways only. I donīt even think Sony would have made the Iron Man 2, when Black Ice wasnīt that much of a top seller album. Also I guess that is the 2nd attempt, after Backtracks didnīt reached the high numbers, they expected it would do so. But on the other hand Backtracks is only a rerelease box with singles released by Warner first. And well next comes a rerelease of the Munich 2001 DVD

Btw, to fly of a little from the subject. Does anyone have a blue ray disk of, err, i think they only have No Bull in blue ray?Anyway, is it different or it's the same as the dvd.The f#cker is very big so i don't wanna download it and see it's the same thing. Now back on topic.I can understand that some people where excited for the IM2 movie with AC/DC playing.Ok, that's fine but man this is a complete screw.I don't know, maybe i'm being an ass like some people say here but dammit, it's happening right in front of my eyes. They are doing a sell out after a sell out. What am i supposed to do?Or most of you?Say "it's a great album i give it a 4 outa 5" (yes you know who you are)?As i've said, i may be on the wrong track here, maybe they are just releasing rarer stuff for younger people to hear.Of course the movie had the "rare" HTH and STT.Very rare. I remember how i felt when i went to see Men In Black just because i thought there would be some AC/DC in the movie.Maybe just for 10 seconds. Now (and without giving a f#ck anymore) i would have imagined my old self breaking chairs on the theater and starting a riot after IM2. Do they really wash your brains so much in the states? They are screwing you and you say "thanks, may i have another?". So what do you want me to do?Don't post?Only give news and rummors out?I don't know.If i'm the weirdo here then i can live you to piece. If you just wanna say "thank you for what you have done AC/DC" then... I'm talking to US kids that you write here. You leave in a very disoriented country, stop getting fooled. As i've said, here, everyone say the have sold out.Lot's of friends i have from other Euro countries say the same.I think the bravest thing to do is not go to a gig of them, just to say to them "hey, give it a rest with the $$ thing".Ah, anyway enough.Gooday.

Sap There was a Blu Ray release of DOnington aswell. And apparently the Donington Blu Ray is better imo. The Blu Ray of No Bull looks like a dvd version. Its not really that good imo.

Backtracks flopped because of its was a stupid expensive, If they had took the crap away and left all the songs and both dvds with it then I would spend my money on it. But not going to spend 200bucks just because it has an amp and other "collectible" worthless shit.

Ok.Info :) .I went to a friend with win7 and it plays fine.I don't think there is so much difference in the video. My friend has a 25' pc monitor so i could check the details. The sound is very good though. In my humble XP i was able to play it win BS and VLC player but it goes way out of sync in audio and video.I usually get the audio but the video is stuck or plays slow. But i'll keep it if i ever get a blu ray player or a new PC. I've also have found it in 7GB download but i think the DVD would be better than this.
