ok, i consider myself the luckyest person in the world, i got to go to DOWNLOAD!!!! along with my uncle and my middle school principal (we both are huge AC/DC fans, he bought me the trip to download for getting him a dvd copy bootleg of his first concert which was ACDC in sacramento CA 90. THANKS NATE FOR THE DVD BOOTLEG) it was freeakin awsome, the boys tore it up!!!!! heres a slightly dignifying revew from the DOWNLOAD web page, and a picture of the show. now heres the whole reason i made this post, AT donnington there was the same towers there was at argentina with cameras. and more cameras than you would ussually see at a AC/DC concert, I THINK YOU KNOW WHERE IM HEADIN' now my question is COULD IT REALLY BE? heres the link: http://downloadfestival.co.uk/reviews/article.aspx?aid=dc2204d2-f47d-4216-b174-14fa2a3dd2d9 (the reason i posted this now, is we stayed at england for a few days later.) RIDE ON.

esau31 the gig would have been was great to you either way, compared to the lame US ones (crowd). Anyway , did you see panoramic cameras? You know the are 2 people in the forum proclaiming for the last year that the DVD will be from Europe and not Buenos Aires? Those 2 Dc haters :P But i believe the DVD would be shot in Paris, not Donigton. Actually i should have taken the plane to Paris tomorrow but i would have to give them the finger cuz i ain't seeing the same setlist for the third time.

I read a review that said attendence was 90,000 Is that more or less than Donington '91?

If they did film Donington, here's a perfect title for a DVD: "Live at Donington 2: Fuck Our Fans, We're Not Changing The Setlist," making reference to Brian saying "Fuck them!" to the fans.

Brian didn't say "Fuck them" to "the fans". He said it to a small group of fans whole follow them around from show to show and who fail to realize that, while they may be an appreciated subgroup of the larger fan base, they're interests are not necessarily reflective of fans at large . If you like AC/DC enough to follow them to several shows, I agree that you should shut the fuck up and enjoy what you get. If you don't like the second show, just don't attend the third. Would I like to see more variation in the setlist? Sure. Do I agree the this tours setlist could've been better? Absolutely. But it wasn't. They played five songs from Black Ice (only two of which I would've picked personally), and several of my favorite songs (that have a pretty objective argument for having been included) were left off. I would have enjoyed Hard as a Rock, but I got Black Ice. Shot Down in Flames would've been fantastic, but I head Anything Goes. And you know I would have traded in War Machine for SUL, Money Made, or any number of other goodies (older and newer). Guess what though? I didn't. I heard what they played, and it was fucking awesome. I wouldn't have added Anything Goes, but when they played it I was up out of my seat and having the time of my life. I think the moral of the story is, if you really have this much of an issue with AC/DC, stop attending the concerts. Sitting on a forum and bitching incessantly (and I mean INCESSANTLY) is only indicative of a propensity for wasting time. AC/DC hasn't screwed you, they haven't "sold out", and in my view a static setlist isn't call for writing them off. The sense of entitlement get from some people on here is just ridiculous. Variation would be great, but absent that I'll take the same old thing for as long as they'll dish it out.

Steve Sisk: Bravo my friend couldn't have said it any better myself. I agree 100% Jailbreakes is also right, they WILL be gone soon,I'm not gonna disown them because I don't like or disagree with some of their recent choices. Us bitching will NOT make any difference to what the band do,they don't read this stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone is checking up on those things, though I kind of doubt that Brian whips out an iPad at the pub to see what I have to say about his setlist. Also, I think it's great to speculate about possible changes and talk about what we'd love to hear (I think I even started a thread about this myself); it's just the /DC bashing/negativity I think is a little silly. I saw them for the first time in December of '08 (Charlotte, NC), so I was absolutely beside myself the entire time. The seats were upper level, but the way the stadium is designed the stage didn't seem too terribly far away. I do have a little dream tucked away though in which they'll do either another tour and/or a series of one off shows, for at least one of which I'll have a front row seat (or rather 1 square foot plot of floor from which to scream my lungs out; the last concert was the only place I've been able to give my Brian Johnson impression my all-out best without worrying about worrying a neighbor or having the police called on me). I've already started a little (and I do mean little) savings fund should the opportunity present itself. And while I've got about 100 songs on my setlist wishlist, at the end of the day I don't care if they play Cyberspace, Rock Your Heart Out, and This Means War two times and all in a row. It'll be otherworldly nonetheless. If you can't have a good time at an AC/DC concert, them problem isn't with the band, it's most likely with you.

the one thing i noticed is that no one noticed that the whole tour was played half a step lower than usual (D# instead of E) which sounded pretty heavy! and would have been shitloads easier for beano to sing (it was easier to sing along to!!) and it made some of the old songs sound a little more like the original recordings!! as for the set list, so farkn what, i like when bands do different sets each time, but something this big, it is good that there was little variation, thus eliminating the need to see them 100 times on the one tour (what a good job you must have!!!!) the 2 times i seen them this tour, in melbourne (section c, good crowd vibe complete with piss all over the floor after the show!!) and Sydney (almost up the front, right side of the catwalk) which was just amazing.... the 2 shows for me make a mental image which i wont forget in a hurry.. screw the armchair critics, like beano said, theres more to changing the setlist than just playing a few different songs.. and it makes the live performance returns soooo much easier!

king of shittalia, I understand the US crowds are different but it is entirely different here. You are not allowed to rush the stage, etc. The concerts are fun as hell here, you get your spot , go grab beers, come back and kick someone out because that is YOUR seat. I prefer it to the large stadium shows and I have been to both. So put that in your pipe and smoke it,. Most of the USA fans are also older and not into jumping around anymore like they did 20 years ago. Shit, most AC/DC fans here are in the mid to later 40's or 50's. Its a different culture here, dont slag on the USA fans though, pal.

Are you talking to me pathetic little dwarf? That right, dwarf because if you have been to a real stadium show and acted usa-ian then they would have stepped over you making you a dwarf. If you don't admit(as most of us people here) that US shows lack the enthusiasm then it's fine by me.But don't insult me cuz to be honest it makes YOU look bad not me. "You are not allowed to rush the stage"!!! Well f%ck me i'm a robot man! "he concerts are fun as hell here, you get your spot , go grab beers, come back and kick someone out because that is YOUR seat." How!Macho men!So you are sitting at an AC/DC show! You just gave it away!A little kid that is sitting at it's favorite band rather than jumping high and headbang like hell.Pathetic. "I prefer it to the large stadium shows and I have been to both" Large stadium shows in US you mean? Then you have not been to a stadium show. "Most of the USA fans are also older and not into jumping around anymore like they did 20 years ago." I had people in their 40's that were jumping here and i respected them for that. "Its a different culture here, dont slag on the USA fans though, pal." I don't slag anyone but anyone that is not blind can see that US shows are lame.As i can slug my country for only having 5-10000 true DC fans and all the others just cough up on the way by Sony advert. These are facts. Great i have to fight with everyone that needs to show off every month or so.Whatever.

Sap, US shows aren't lame. We like to enjoy the music. You can't do that if you're headbanging, moshing or acting like some 16 year old death metal fan.
