Hey guys/gals! I'm going to another 'DC show this sunday and I'm wondering when the event (not just the AC/DC show) is gonna start? Ticket says 6pm, will the first (of two) support acts be on stage then or is it the actual gate opening time? Last but not least, when should I show up at the gate in order to be up front? Capacity around 80.000 on a fairground. It'll be my first open air show so this is all new to me lol Thanks a bunch in advance for any help!

as early as possible Manuel, 9am or earlier, long damn day but if you get where you want to be its all good, depending on the local noise curfews, supports may be on 5ish sometimes earlier,The Answer were on real early back in June @ Glasgow and a lot of people missed them because they were on before the Subways. Anyhow bro, enjoy(as you will!! LOL),and let us know how it goes Be Well Dave

I saw them @ Giants Stadium back in July and my ticket said 7:30 but The Answer was on about a little earlier than that

At the gig I went to (28/01/10, Wellington, N.Z), the first supporting band was on about 5:30pm and the second was on about 7:00. AC/DC were supposed to come on stage at 8:30pm but they didn't come on until 8:50pm

I turned up at about 11am for Melbourne. Longest day of my life. Just waiting and waiting, at least some drunk bogans turned up and made things interesting. But anyway, I got to the front. I was in the corner of the ramp and the stage pretty much as close as you could get. Because the ticket was Arena 2 I was had to be on cliff's side, didn't matter though. It's great there because most of Angus' solo's are performed a little up from the foot of the stage and the ramp about level with the crowd. Here's some pics I took so you can see the view: Photobucket Photobucket

What I figured out for the concert in Berlin is that the ticket says 18.00h which is probably the beginning of the first of two supprting acts. The stadium opens at 16.00h. Support acts : Boon , Volbeat On ebay I´ve seen that you can buy VIP Parking tickets for Dresden-25€ each for a parking lot nearby the main entrance. Otherwise is the closest parking space 6km far which is not an easy walking distance-public transport is organized

I got to Sydney at 2:30pm and it said 5pm start which was the first band. I was right on the barrier on Malcolm's side almost at the end of the side walk, which was great. That is where Angus and Brian come out to and sing/solo. I was right in front of the all those speakers and the cannons, which were extremely loud. My DP is from where I was. Also got plenty of awesome photos.

Thanks for all your messages, greatly appreciated! Just read a short article about sunday's concert in the newspaper and it says they're gonna open the gates at 4pm. Guess I'll show up 2:30pm the latest. rock on!
