Donington '91 unfixed audio
Does anyone have unfixed audio form Donington '91, I have the DVD but its dubbed, I want the actual show!! Let me know!!
It's on Black Ice Bootlegs (you need to become a member): http://z10.invisionfree.com/Black_Ice_Bootlegs/index.php?showtopic=808
Hm maybe should I give the member in BI bootlegs a better audio. Need to fix the audio quality a bit.
I read that the Brazillian DVD has the original audio. So that would mean you get Great Picture with the original sound. Someone should rip that DVD's audio so we can have a proper audio rip.
@ flick I heard itīs pretty hard to get that version. I would also love to have it. But I heard itīs a bootleg in some way.
Unfortunately the recording avaliable in black ice bootlegs forum is in mono. About the brazillian DVD: it's the first release of donington here, i don't know if the audio is the same of VHS, because this DVD has also a remixed 5.1 track, so the stereo track must be remixed as well. this version also have subtitles in portuguese, the recent digipak release don't. I hope one day find and buy it. but i believe that even the VHS have some audio editing, as you can hear here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-7-zoEMktM around 2:00 brian moved away the mic and you can still hear him singing, but in the backtracks version don't (but the guitars still overdubbed).
That Rosie version doesnīt have the VHS Audio. I checked with my VHS version. Itīs prolly the DVD/Blu Ray sound. The only edit the VHS version has is the cut of both Brian introducing DDDDC and the scream of Angus at the end.
Oh and yeah about that recording in the BI Forum: Bad Sound: I was thinking about releasing a newer version there. Would take a few days I guess.
I don't think the tracks on the "Live" album are edited, at least, the guitars aren't. The problem is, half the tracks aren't from Donington.
in the DVD and blueray, at 2:05, brian don't sing the "yeah yeah yeahs" and the angus licks after the first solo don't have problems. but in the hail caesar single version and in the VHS rip, brian sing the "yeah yeah yeahs" and angus guitar is muted after the first solo. watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XvGgon9vns that's why I thing that a completely unedited version was never released.
That angus guitar is muted, was on the DVD/Blu Ray aswell and I think that also happened on the fan recording too. I still think the VHS is besides the 3 - 4 live tracks on the CD close to the unedited version. But if you really want a 100% unedited version search for the fan recording on the Black Ice Bootlegs forum.
