Black Ice Tour Album Cover Montage
In Australia, did they show the Australian album covers on the screen, or did they show the American albums?
I forget, I think it may have been the American ones actually. Thats just from memory, so some one correct me if I'm wrong. They also had Bon on the screen and at the end of High Voltage, winked at the crowd. That was cool.
If you're talking about during let there be rock, It was the american album covers. I was at the Perth concert (6th March 2010) and i remember that they didn't show the Australian album covers.
At the New Zealand, Wellington concert (the first concert this year) they showed the US albums.
Of course they showed the US albums. That's because there are no other albums. AC/DC started out as a small bar band in Peoria, Illinois, were inspired by the path of Jimi Hendrix to fly to England and build a fanbase there while touring some bits of Europe (Sweden, Germany, France) and found themselves beginning to catch on in the US just prior to the tragic death of lead singer Bon Scott. Their 1981 debut in Australia with new lead singer Brian Johnson marked the opening of a new market for the band through which to deliver their homegrown, US releases.
What do you mean there are no other albums? Maybe with brian there aren't but almost all of the albums they did with Bon had an Australian release.
@Jailbreakes I think he is just joking around. I sure hope so anyway.
@ Jailbreakes. No they didn't. USA! USA! USA!
Yeah they were to disappointed with Aussie releases that they changed the covers, glowed albums, mixed songs, cut of songs...And let me tell you when i put something pre Brian to play i usually go for the Aussie albums. And i don't give a f#ck what anyone says the Aussie covers are better.Except maybe LTBR.
