greatest sounding album
which album do you think has the greatest sound? i would have to say High Voltage
Highway to Hell. Mutt gets it right every time. #2 is The Razor's Edge (RIP, Mr. Fairbairn, AC/DC still needs you). #3 is the Rick Rubin produced Ballbreaker.
i'd probably say Powerage closely followed by Back in Black
Those three mutt produced....the sound is so clear. He is such an AMAZING producer. Highway to hell is my personal favorite album and i love the drum sound its awesome.
back in black, black ice, high voltage, and highway to hell
All the Bon era, production wise it's perfect. All Brian era except Fly On The Wall,Stiff Upper Lip,Blow Up Your Video, and Flick Of The Switch. Those albums lack production, but are fantastic song wise none the less.
Highway To Hell, & For Those About To Rock (or it just might be the sound of Brian's voice in that album)
Highway to Hell, Black Ice and Back in Black.
im not a big fan of super clean sound exept on material like that of SLASH, but black ice made it good for me, i like the sound of let there be rock though.
Fllick of the switch and Blow Up Your Video
Powerage Highway To Hell Back in Black For Those About to Rock The Razors Edge Ballbreaker
1. Highway To Hell/Back In Black: Both timeless rock albums 2. Powerage: Rock 'n Roll like it should be 3. For Those About to Rock: Every thing sounds perfect 4. Ballbreaker: Re captured the real sound of ac/dc's early years (in my opinion) 5. The Razors Edge: Just greatly produced
It's gotta be flick of the switch, that opening hit on the snare blows my mind everytime.
Highway To Hell Black Ice is pretty good aswell
i dont really like the sound on the mutt era albums... i like young/vanda, acdc, fairbairn, and rubin so for top 5 1.) High Voltage 2.) Flick of the Switch 3.) Let There Be Rock 4.) Ballbreaker 5.) The Razors Edge
Seriously jomek??? I think you might the only AC/DC fan I've ever heard say the didn't like the Mutt era albums. I love the pre mutt stuff too,(Let There Be Rock and Powerage have the best sounding guitars the band have ever had imo.) but Highway To Hell,Back In Black, and For Those About To Rock sound fucking awesome too. (Everyone's got there tastes I suppose) -Cheers
My phone is back(in black). I'll vote for LTBR the rawest, in your face, fuc$#r ever made.
WTF is up with all the BI support? That album sucked soundwise. 1. Ballbreaker simply because they captured the sound of Mal's Gretsch so well and the drums sound amazing. 2. Powerage 3. Let There Be Rock
Bon's era: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and TNT I just love the "ultra" raw sound on those albums. Brian's era: For Those About To Rock and Ballbreaker Both are just "perfect" as far as I'm cocerned.
