'91 Jailbreak With Out The Break Down
Using the AC/DC Rock Band Multi Track Rips I edited Jailbreak '91 to sound more like the original studio version.I cut out the spectacular break down and since I had all the instruments sperate to mix at my own free will,I had the ability to dub the guitars over and edit them clean enough so that it doesn't sound too choppy. Sort of like the Rock In Rio version from '85 I suppose, __________________________________________________________ AC/DC '91 Jailbreak __________________________________________________________ What do you guys think? Do you think if they played Jailbreak on the Black Ice tour it would have been done this way like High Voltage or would they have kept the breakdown? -Cheers
really nice, you should think of a studio job. yes it would be cool for AC/DC to play jailbreak in next tour, i dont think they would add the breakdown just like with HV they didnt pause and have brian go "gimme high!!!", but really nice job man.
You're too kind, lol. Really it's not much more thanjust some Audacity tweaking and know how and the Rockband Rips. Although,I would love to have a job like that. and If I ever became an audio engineer,I would for sure do some stuff with Flick Of The Switch,Fly On The Wall, and Blow Up Your Video. Imagine what could be done with professional equipment....
That's actually a job that I've been researching, I even went to a recording studio and recorded 3 songs with my band. It was an amazing experience... Back on topic, great job! You can't even tell it's been edited, sounds like it could have been on a Brian era album. Would've made TRE even better!
Awesome editing!!!!!!!!! It's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! And not to be taboo with anyone, and it's great to have Angus' nice riffs to listen to, but I was getting a little tired of hearing these "Never-ending" Jailbreak live performances.... I agree you should get a studio job!!! 100 Stars out of 10
it sounds really good. and as to your question about if they would've had the breakdown if they had played it on this tour: well, you do realize that the only reason they had that breakdown was for Angus's strip show. so if Angus didn't do the strip show in this song then there wouldn't be a reason to have a breakdown.
They played Jailbreak as the breakdown in '91 and High Voltage with a breakdown too. So why couldn't they do the same for The Jack and jailbreak?
Sounds awesome flick! Can't tell that it's been edited.
Yeah, I do this all the time myself. I don't care for listening to 20 minute versions of songs live, with 15 minutes of it being Angus doing a solo. If anyone is interested I have edited versions of several AC/DC songs like what Flick did that I made in Soundforge. Off the top of my head these are the ones I made: 01.) Jailbreak from Live 02.) Jailbreak from Dallas 85 03.) Bad Boy Boogie from Live in Munich 04.) Guns For Hire from Detroit 83 05.) High Voltage from Live 06.) Let There Be Rock from Live 07.) Let There Be Rock from No Bull 08.) Boogie Man from No Bull 09.) Bad Boy Boogie from If You Want Blood I think I have others but that's all I can think of right now. Send me a PM if you're interested.
