AC/DC playing on WalMart's home theatre sound systems
At every WalMart I go to, samples of the songs from the "Black Ice" album are always played on the home theatre sound systems in the electronics department. Has anybody else noticed this?
I pass. I am not american. But I would like to hear that. Is it only sound or is there a video aswell?
I can't confirm this as true in Canada, having been in three different Wal-Marts in my city. Most of the Wal-Mart sound systems are low-rent, cheap sounding systems, anyways, so I'm not sure I'm losing any of the experience by not hearing AC/DC whenever I walk into the A/V system at any store. I went to an audio specialist store and they had David Gilmour's Remeber That Night Blu-Ray playing through Bose speakers - that was a sight and sound to behold!
Just wanted to know since I keep hearing BI every time I walk past those sound systems at every WalMart I go to. Patrick: Just audio no video. ----------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS MY 300TH POST! -----------------------------------------------------------
ive noticed that since the black ice album came out
Might be some kind of stragedy to get people to buy the album? back to topic... I have been to 2 wal marts so far (could be 3) and I can't remember hearing tunes of the new album. The ones I went to were in Parkesburg, PA & Rosemont, IL
Yeah I noticed that too, thought it was pretty cool
We have JB Hi Fi in Australia, which is basically as store for all things electronic and Home Theatre etc.. Any whenever I go to the one which is about 20 mins away, they are always playing Donnington on Blu-ray on all the Home Theatre's. So it's pretty coll to walk into.
funny i was walking through wal mart a few months ago i noticed that, and fuck wal mart? cant hate on wal mart, its cool and lets not forget always low prices...always
Wow, if you don't know what's wrong with Walmart you either live under a rock or are a total idiot...
Most of the time I do not go into a WalMart. I can't handle with those screaming children. Typical things I hear at a WalMart: Kid: Mommy, I want this toy! Mom (or Dad): No, not today! Kid: I want a candy bar!!!! Mom (or Dad): No! Kid: (screams loud that the whole store hears it) Good thing I'm child-free otherwise I would probably hang myself :P
@suicidehummer, dont call me an idiot, i dont care if people dont like wal mart because it ruins businesses that suck, im not gunna pretend it upsets me when i dont give a shit
Then you're essentially saying "fuck anybody who owns an independent store". You must be totally clueless when it comes to economics if you think WalMart isn't the worst thing since Sarah Palin was born.
Off topic here a bit, but I hope you're joking about your signature... __________________________________________________________ "She use me like a nigga got a hold on me" There's no doubt in my mind that's what Brian says... __________________________________________________________ In Down On The Borderline he plainly says, "She use me like an ANCHOR got a hold on me" If you were jsut poking fun at Brian's pronounciation, then Ignore this. They wouldn't use nigga... lol
oh yeah i am mister clueless when it comes to a cutthroat corporation who would sell you a piece of shit for alot of money comparing to independent who would sell slightly worse for a few more bucks, and dude, sarah palin? what the hell is that supposed to mean? no offense but it takes an asshole to go around saying people you dont know are for the fall of great american companies, dont shit yourself im in talking about wal mart, and put down people who work hard for the dream of owning and running you own business, i just like wal mart im not a corporate snob, and i hope to god youre older than me otherwise i gotta tell you that get some growing up donw
Flick, yeah it's tongue in cheek, but it sure as hell does sound like that's what he says. ANCHOR, damn I've been wondering for so long. How'd you figure that out? I couldn't find one lyrics website that anything even close to correct. imma rocker: I don't even know where to start with WalMart. They are outsourcing labor, they pay the absolute minimum wages, not nearly enough to live off of, they're driving small businesses out of business and creating a monopoly, they promote censorship of music, they destroy small towns and force them into dependence on Walmart... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Not to mention they have no specific knowledge of their products. An independent record store will provide you with better service, fair pricing, and knowledge of the product.
