Definitely Not the Glimmer Twins
I joined a month ago and was only able to download one bootleg (Route 666 Vol. I & II) and I would love to have the rest, but that'd be too much to ask. So I would like to know if someone can hook me up with Bootleg #7 "Definitely Not the Glimmer Twins", that's the one I want most. Thanks in advance.
Tesla, Do you have icq? If yes, I could send you a file transfer if you give me your number. OR you can join the dc++trading network and download it from me. My screen name is acdc74. OR maybe we could work out a trade. Let me know. Best Regards
everyone should join the ac/dc hub as all these common concerts are available hail hail...............davidceltic
joining the ac/dc hub sounds quite a bit complicated to me, i read the instructions and either i'm stupid or i don't understand what to do, it's too technical for me to understand, as Homer Simpson once said "could you dumb it down a little" thanx......Bushman
acdc74: Thanks a lot. I can't join the hubs because I only have about 500 MB of bootlegs and I need 1 GB to join (I automatically get kicked). I do, however, have ICQ. My number is 99136824, I'll try to be online as much as possible. bushman: It's quite easy, but the instructions are not up to date, the new DC++ is a little different, but it's pretty much the same. The instructions should be like this: 1. Download DC++ by clicking here. 2. Install it. 3. Run it for the first time. You'll need to set your preferences so you can have access to the hubs. 4. Click on File --> Settings... 5. Click on 'Personal Information' on the left side of the window. 6. Enter a Nick Name. Any other info is optional. 7. Click on 'Connection Settings'. 8. Click on 'Passive'. 9. Click on 'Downloads' on the left side of the window. 10. Choose a directory on your computer where you want to put everything you download from the hub for the 'Default download directory'. 11. If you would like to store the temp files that are created in a different folder, choose a different folder for the 'Unfinished downloads directory' (you basiacally don't want this, so it's best to ignore this unless you have some special reasons to). 12. Click on 'Sharing' on the left side of the window. 13. Choose a folder that has at least 1 gig of information in it. (No studio recordings, only bootleg material allowed) To choose this folder, click 'Add Folder' and choose it. 14. Choose at least the minimum number of open slots per hub under 'Upload Slots'. (EX. I'm in 2 hubs which require a minimum of 2 slots per hub, so I have 4 in the 'Upload Slots' field (this means that for the AC/DC hubs you need 2 upload slots per hub, so if you want to connect to all three type in 6). 15. Click 'OK' on the window to save your settings. Now you can add a hub to connect to.
thanx, now i've joined the hub, your right it was very easy but i haven't found a single ac/dc video or mp3, where the hell are they all, it looks like it'll take years to search all the users.
is anyone into doing trades by mail? like sending DVD-r or CD-r ??? i have shitty dial up so it takes too long to get anything decent
bushman, I had the same problem, you have to change the connection from active to passive, it will work them
I still didn't receive this bootleg, can anyone else help me?
Tesla, Do you have any other bootlegs from other rock bands? We can work out a trade by mail or ICQ and I can get you the San Fran show. Let me know Scotty from Detroit
acdc74: Nope, sorry. I'm new to this, so I can't offer a lot. Oh well, I guess I'll wait 'till I get 1 GB of bootlegs and get on the hubs.
