Who Played Bass...
...on the live version of She's Got Balls from Bondi Lifesaver '77 and on the demo version of Touch Too Much from Volts? Was it Mark or Cliff? Thanks.
Cliff played at the last 2 Bondi Lifesaver '77 dates. http://www.acdcfamilyjewels.com/timeline/ Not sure who played bass on 'Touch Too much'.
Looks like Cliff also played bass on 'Touch Too much' from Volts according to here: http://www.discogs.com/ACDC-Bonfire/release/1823572 Cheers ;)
Hmm, well the link in the second post doesn't actually mention anything about who played on Touch Too Much (unless I missed it), and the link also has the wrong information about who played on the Let There Be Rock soundtrack (which was Cliff Williams). As far as Touch Too Much goes, I remember hearing that the demo version was originally from a four song EP AC/DC never released (which also included Love at First Feel, Carry Me Home, and Dirty Eyes). Which if true, would make Mark Evans the bass player...but that's what I'm unsure of...when the demo version of Touch Too Much was recorded.
As for the link in the second post, the info is at the bottom after you scroll down through the tracks where it lists who played what on the tracks, but now that you brought up the point on the wrong info on Let There Be Rock, this may not be true. Your recollection of the 4 song EP is a good one and if true, I would agree that Mark would sound like the one who played bass on the demo of Touch Too Much. I will do some more digging and if I find anything on that 4 song EP, will let you know.
Cool, thanks. Thanks also for the info on Bondi Lifesaver.
No problem, I try to help the best I can. I did find something on Wikipedia about the early version of Whole Lotta Rosie which mentions Dirty Eyes, Carry Me Home, and Love At First Feel being recorded in late summer of '76 for a possible EP. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whole_Lotta_Rosie No mention of Touch Too Much and the EP was supposedly scrapped, but I caution info on Wikipedia which anyone can add or delete comments to and I have seen false information on there before. Although it sort of clarifies what you stated with the tracks recorded for the 'possible' EP.
