Hey you! I just been listening to this song from CD no.2 from "Backtracks" and (again) I can`t believe how "weird" the backing vocals sound. Did Malcolm and/ or Cliff suffer from some throat problems that night or something?

I know what you mean, but I prefer that version over the version on "AC/DC Live" in part, because of those interesting sounding backing vocals (and the hard hitting of Simon Wright, that makes any pre-Wright song sound better live IMO).

I would imagine since they hadn't played that song in so long, and those are probably the most demanding vocals Cliff and Mal do, they were just worn out.

Makes sense, they hadn't did it since Bon,so I'd say they were a bit "rusty" not to mention of course, they were flat out tired from touring so much. What a great song it is though, "Jaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiilllllbreak!!!"
