After reading BN's post and sleeping on it last night, I decided to give it another try and take the sarcasicm with a grain of salt. I have had a lot of personal issues, including the loss of a friend who passed on due to a drug overdose. What made matters worse was his body was dumped on a vacant street by the people he was with. They were caught, but if he would have been taken to a hospital, he could have been still with us. He contributed to some of my AC/Dc material, so I still am having problems dealing with the loss. I apologize to Sap and whoever else I came off strong on. It is your choice to accept my apology, but if not I understand. My behavior over the loss of someone who was a good friend should not be taken on everyone else, but I guess it got the better half of me. I normally am a helpful guy and fiendly, so I will continue to post and contribute, but if I see a post getting out of hand or a remark made negatively towards me, I will stay away or as BN said just ignore them. After all, this site is about the music and inspirations AC/DC has given to us fans over the decades, so that is what I will concentrate on. Thanks again to everyone and let's have some good talk on one of our favorite bands. Cheers, Josh P.S. BN if you could remove the thread I started against Sap, much appreciated since I would rather see it gone. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Flick and I apologize for anything I said that offended you. I do not know this other former poster, but I will not go down that route. Everyone who knows me knows I am an easygoing guy who gets along with pretty much anyone, I also like to joke around quite a bit, so if I come across too strong, let me know and feel free to put me in my place. Take care

Hey dude: Sorry to hear about the death of your friend, especially under the circumstances in which he died and you learned about his death. Have you considered going in for some counseling? Also, regarding what you think a "true AC/DC fan is", you have spoken of democracy, but some part of you seems to have forgotten that dissent is in some respects the most necessary part of a democracy. Otherwise, societies and institutions tend to become lazy, corrupt and stupid. Greece is, at the moment, one of the strongest examples of democracy. The people have realized they are being shortchanged by big business and big money and are essentially being forced into a position of slavery. Greece has plenty of experience with slavery going back thousands of years, so the people of that country are raging in the streets and fighting it for all they're worth. Sap's comments regarding AC/DC's lame output of the last few years is basically the same thing: He is not going to be a slave to an economic machine which produces poor product. Neither am I. So we dissent. By dissenting, we relieve ourselves of certain stresses and show others that it's ok to speak if they're feeling the same thing. If enough people are feeling the same thing and expressing it, then there is an increased chance that the tide will turn in their favour. You sound pretty blue collar, so I'll express it to you in another way. It's like throwing a monkey wrench into a machine when the company you are working for which recently announced a billion-dollar profit margin decides to cut back benefits and reduce pay. It is a way of saying, "No, you will not profit by taking advantage of me." This is democracy. Watching things from up here, I can understand if you're experiencing some confusion about this as the Tea Partiers and the crazy religious right have taken over your country. I must admit that up in Canada, we are facing some of the same dangers and have similar leaders to the one who is currently touring with his memoirs in your country. We must not blindly follow those who believe they have a lockdown on morality and a direct connection to God. The same goes for the music we love. Sure, we may love AC/DC, but that doesn't mean that their shit doesn't stink and they have never produced bad product. It also doesn't mean that they are not vulnerable to corruption and laziness. In fact, it could be argued that laziness, corruption and bad product have basically defined them the last five years. The only way we will receive good product and concerts that are alive rather than museum pieces which go through the motions of 1979 is to call them out on this. If you disagree, fine, but be aware that your blind loyalty is not helping anybody, least of all the band and yourself. But if your blind loyalty is coming from an honest place, I will be the last one to call you out on it and the first one to fight for you to be who you are. In other words, I may not agree with everything you have to say, but I will fight to the ends of the earth for your freedom to say it.

@ RNR, Wow, I really understand where you are coming from now that you took time to explain it. I hate the direction our country is going, and I know every other country has its downfalls in which many who believe in their rights or morals, have to stand up and fight for what they believe in. I feel sorry for what you are going through and others in the same similiar situation. It seems our goverment leaders think control is good, but as it is here in the U.S., we are slowly losing our freedoms and rights. Nowadays it seems there is some law we break once we step outside our doors called home. We need the laws on the books enforced, not new ones as it is here. But anyway, enough of the democracy lectures since we all seem to agree on this issue. I do not need counseling as to answering your question since it has not been that bad, I seem, to be coping with my loss everyday and have support from my lovely wife, family and friends. That is one reason I came here to talk and discuss the inspiration AC/DC has had on myself and in a way to deal with my loss which actually helped even with the little feud which went on. I really appreciate your post RNR, even if we may disagree on certain things regarding the band. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should not be criticized, which I learned from my mistake. But again, I am not that old type of person who makes offensive comments, so this loss really took me by surprise but talking about it here has sort of lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders. Thanks RNR and look forward to a lot of good discussions with you. P.S. I have dealt with those like Sap, so I may not agree with what he has to say, but I still will see and respect his opinions and visions on things he feels strong about. After all, that is what keeps a forum going with different opinions and everyone coming together with their own personal experiences. Cheers ;)

@ jspr96 Try not to take everything to heart, especially on the internet. All the best.

Sorry for your loss too. Just want to add to RnRDamnation post that it is a very good post explaining more or less what is going on to the world in general. Here in Greece we have issues other than you have in US. P.E. I can break a window and probably get away with it but if i have some interest to pay to a bank p.e. 1Euro then i may get in trouble. Now something else.Consider what our government is going to do.A law called "pereosis" that will call people to close their IRS taxes for the previous years with a cost of 500-1000 per year.So if i ow 5000Euros for a year, i will pay 500 and be fine with it.Now if someone owns 1million he will pay 1000 and be fine with it!Isn't this crazy? Not in here.In Greece if you have money then you will always find a way to slip from the taxes but if you are poorer then they will cut your pension hunt you down etc. And i close with the funniest part.In the recent elections for mayors people voted very high the same government that is raping them from the a$$! Of course there was a 60% of people that did not went to vote, as a protest, but sometimes i really wonder how can we have given the lights to civilization and be so naive and stupit..Ahh.Greeks.

I feel for you Sapator, I thought it was bad here. Hope things turn around for everyone, but I have a feeling it will take a miracle and I won't be around to see things change, so i hope for my children's sake they will have a better lifestyle and stand up to the government and protect their rights and freedoms as we are trying to do. Nothing wrong with Greeks. Elections like this happen all over. I gave up voting a year back mainly because every time some "great" politician gets in with their support for the taxpayers and voters, they change their tune and seem to go with the status quo. Oh well, enough talk about politics, giving me a migraine...
