Death metal band Six Feet Under covered the entire Back in Black album on their release Graveyard Classics 2 the first has a cover of TNT, there is also a live version of TNT on their Live with Full Force album, not many people like Six Feet Under but im a big fan
Shakira-"Back In Black" "Starts off on a cabaret organ and then dancing, but then explode into a faithful arrangement" http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/countygrind/2010/09/shakira_best_cover_songs.php
Celene Dion also did an AC/DC cover, but it is horrible. Wish some would just stick to their normal songs and leave the good ones alone.
One of the best I've ever seen was Max Middle's "Hells Bells". It shows us how awesome the song really is by drawing attention to the moronic lyrics. If we can still think the song is one of the best they've ever done (and it is) after realizing how silly the lyrics are, it's a f'in awesome song!
Also, the Shakira version of Back in Black is pretty awesome, as is the Melissa Etheridge version of You Shook Me All Night Long. Anytime Lemmy's covered AC/DC, it has totally rocked. Most of the 80s hair band covers, though, suck as bad as you would think they might. That might have a lot to do with them being 80s hair bands, though.
@RNR I thought the Shakira was pretty good also. At first, I had to cover my ears the way it first started out since it sounded more like, but then it kicks in and sounds very well done.
Some have been mentioned already, but here's what I know off the top of my head: 01.) Overkill - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 02.) Exodus - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 03.) Twisted Sister - Sin City / Walk All Over You 04.) Motorhead - It's a Long Way To the Top 05.) Iced Earth - Highway To Hell 06.) Rob Zombie - Highway To Hell 07.) Marilyn Manson - Highway To Hell 08.) Six Feet Under - TNT / Back in Black (whole album) 09.) Guns N Roses - Whole Lotta Rosie 10.) Anthrax - Whole Lotta Rosie 11.) Black Label Society - Hell Ain't a Bad Place To Be That's all I can think of right now.
Quiet Riot - Highway To Hell Kiss - You Shook Me All Night Long Bruce Dickinson - Sin City

http://www.markkozelek.com/disc2.html Mark Kozelek What's Next to the Moon is a solo album by Mark Kozelek, released on January 10, 2001. The album is composed entirely of drastically rearranged acoustic covers of Bon Scott-era AC/DC songs. The album follows the release of his debut solo EP Rock 'n' Roll Singer, which also features three AC/DC covers: "Rock 'n' Roll Singer," "You Ain't Got a Hold on Me," and "Bad Boy Boogie." The versions of "Rock 'n' Roll Singer" and "Bad Boy Boogie" on this album are different from the versions on the EP. Track listing 1. "Up to My Neck in You" 2:41 2. "Love at First Feel" 2:15 3. "Love Hungry Man" 1:43 4. "Bad Boy Boogie" 4:51 5. "What's Next to the Moon" 3:37 6. "Walk All Over You" 3:00 7. "You Ain't Got a Hold on Me" 3:17 8. "If You Want Blood" 2:40 9. "Riff Raff" 2:50 10. "Rock 'n' Roll Singer" 3:33
Got a very interesting one that I just picked up: "Thunderstruck" - MINISTRY
Hillbilly version of 'Highway To Hell' by Hayseed Dixie (Different, but not too bad actually!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU-BkjLDND0
"Hillbilly version of 'Highway To Hell' by Hayseed Dixie" Hayseed Dixie actually did an entire album of AC/DC covers. also Full Blown Cherry has an entire album of "hillbilly" AC/DC covers. Airbourne - Whole Lotta Rosie Velvet Revolver - Whole Lotta Rosie
Exodus - Overdose Iced Earth - Highway to Hell (pretty awesome cover imo) Iced Earth - It's a Long Way to the Top Guns 'N' Roses - Whole Lotta Rosie That΄s all from the top of my brain. Any other covers I know are already been written here. ;)
I forgot who it was, but a band did a cover of Thunderstruck, and in the middle it cut into big balls, then sin city (the snakes take part) and then it went back to thunderstruck, I'd like to find this one again
Magnum-"Girl's Got Rhythm" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bV657ZcJ-A&feature=related
Has anyone mentioned the techno version of Thunderstruck?:) Classic Rock Magazine from the UK did a free cd with their July 2010 edition called Back In Black Redux where they asked ten artists to cover one track off BIB each. Most of it is fairly ordinary faithful renditions but worth hearing for The Urban Voodoo Machine doing an almost country style Hells Bells with trumpet solo (!) and The Union (Luke Morley from Thunder) doing Noise Pollution in VERY bluesy fashion!! If anyone's interested in hearing it PM me and I'll upload it and send you a link. Also Living Colour have done BIB and The Atomic Bitchwax did Dirty Deeds.
