i have read and been fasinated by the idea of Brian buying that soccer team of his, so i was wondering if annyone has a way to contact the current owner which whants to sell the team. i guess a petition 10000 strong would at leat get some attention. heres a link abbout the guy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Ashley_(businessman)

Brian once tried to buy the pro-soccer team Newcastle United, after some complications (which were never clearly ststed) he was un-able to. The owner still whants to sell it but no offers have been made for more than 300 million i think, brian whants to buy it, i think if both were told of the opportunity it would occur.

I'm still looking for the really wild idea in this post. So the fans tell Brian he should buy a soccer team and he probably tells them to fuck off - so what? Where's the wild idea?
