Guess who's back? Plus wrestemania and other things...
Hey Hey guys, what is up? Long time no see eh? It's been awhile. How's it going guys? I see good ol Saptor is still hanging around. But anyways, Im back, who know for how long, busy will school and college and suff. Just to kinda make it so im not making a pointless post, anybody catch Wrestlemania 28 tonight? It sure was a dandy, best one in recent memory, if not ever. Any thoughs/comments?
I did watch Wrestlemania last night and it was the best one yet.The Hell In A Cell Match with Undertake and HHH stole the show.
Good ol' sap will be there until fucking IMF forbids us to use the internet.Welcome back.
personally i will stick with wrestlemania IX or summerslam 1991
I also watched Wrestlemania live and I didn't regret it. Best matches were Taker vs HHH and Cena vs Rocky. So damn cool when cena imitated Rocky with the perople's elbow just to recieve a rock bottom right after. Finally a Wrestlemania without a winning Cena.
I HATE wrestiling, bunch of staged, fake shit. The old wrestling was great stuff with Ox Baker, Andre The Giant, etc., now its more of a comical show than anything. IMHO ;)
I know that it is all staged, I just watch it because it entertain's me but I don't watch it that often/as much as I use to compared to when I was a little kid and I loved it.I just started watching now because Pre-Wrestlemania is always the best entertainment and plus The Rock is back.I saw that Brock Lesnar quit UFC and he is back to the WWE as well.I was shocked
Saptor: Its good to be back! And yeah we all know its pre-determined. But not fake, choreographed is the word. Look at the Undertaker vs HHH match from 2 days ago. Now without a doubt if that match was 100% real, both of them would be dead. But if you take at look at all the cuts and bruises they both had after the match, its fair to say its not 100% "fake" either. However, it makes for a better show. For example, in UFC there are several cases where a fight has had tons of hype, and you rent this $50 ppv only to have it a first round knockout. Thats why I like the WWE, cause I know Rock vs. Cena was gonna be a long drawn out match worth the money. However, I cant say I wanted the Rock to win...I was gonna be fine with whoever won either way. But while I'm not a huge Cena fan. I hate how the Rock can just leave the WWE and turn his back on "The Rock persona" and then just get it all back when we wants to. Cena has been in movies (terrible movies at that) but he always comes back to WWE, and that earns my respect. Or like Stone Cold, even though he's not wrestling, he still shows up every now and again because he knows the fans want it. So Im not a huge Rock fan now...at least, not like when I was a kid
"For example, in UFC there are several cases where a fight has had tons of hype, and you rent this $50 ppv only to have it a first round knockout." Yeah, that reminds me of when the Mike Tyson fight against Evander Holyfield took place and all the bars and pubs in my area charged its patrons a small "fee" to watch the event. Everyone wanted to get the event on PPV and see it. Now I don't mind watching boxing, but I will never pay $40 or $50 to see it since in this case it only lasted one round and "off" went Holyfield's ear!!! This is why I do not like purchasing these types of events. Although one never knows what will happen whether it be a sporting event, concert, theatrical performance, etc. so to some it might be worth the money, I just would not spend it. Now if AC/DC were going to do a performance at an event, then I would ;)
