Hey guys, I need to know if anyone has a superb quality audio recording of this show in its complete, unedited broadcast with the Pete Drummond intro as seen here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YxnIYpkMkI I have this show on various sources such as 'B.S. We Love You', 'Bon Scott Forever IV', and another source but either the show is incomplete or not in the best audio format. I also noticed that on the track 'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be' that is on the Plug Me In dvd set, the complete intro with Pete Drummond looks like it starts the show off, however in the setlist on all the listings I have seen, 'LTBR' starts the concert off. I am thinking on the Plug Me In dvd they edited the intro with HAABPTB, or is this the correct first song starting the show off? I would like to have a rip of the show with complete intro with Pete and no fading or cutting off of tracks, just the whole concert as it was broadcast. Thanks again ;)

I have a video of the original broadcast, w/ intro and the more complete version of TNT. Let me know if no one responds that already has it in audio format.

^ Cool, and thanks Nate, will touch base with you if I get no replies. Was not aware also of the "more complete" version of TNT. I know the Rock Masters release has the concert with TNT, not sure which version is on that one ;)

The "original" "complete" version of T.N.T. has the geniuses at the BBC running credits over the second chorus and guitar solo and then fading both audio and video. The video fades back in with the credits flying off the screen and a "different" (possibly radio) source being used for the audio. That part is cut on the Rock Masters version and the BBC credits have been replaced by shots from other points in the show. Later airings of the BBC tape have it fade out at the above mentioned point, but not fading back in (I know VH1 Classic aired this version at one point, when they were airing the BBC stuff). ^ Thanks much for the info. I checked both links and see what you mean. I wish VH1 would bring back the BBC stuff which is why I sent them a letter requesting if they could which was Doc's idea, but have not heard anything back from them ;(

Does anyone know why they would cut out the 1 minute of tnt on Rock masters DVD?

The BBC was always kinda known for having some weird cuts in their concerts (like the ending of shows, as noted above with the T.N.T. incident, and a year later with Rock Goes To College having credits run over the end of Let There Be Rock). The thing is, they didn't appear to run a master tape before credits were added to the show, so a "clean" source that would allow for uninterrupted footage is unobtainable. The home video market and reairings weren't nearly as big at that time so things like master quality footage weren't nearly as high of a priority as making it look presentable at the time. Also most networks are very tight on making sure concerts and other live stuff fits in the allotted time slot. As for the Rock Masters DVD? I have no logical idea as to why they'd cut it, with the exception of a portion of the master being distorted.

Cool, I managed to get the full introduction as a track and made a nice cd-r of this concert with HD quality and the complete 'TNT' track I edited from the BBC original version added as well. Now i have a complete recording thanks to myself ;)
