^ lol! I love it too. I would NEVER spend that much money on an item unless it was COMPLETE and not missing any pages. That is if I was interested in it, which in this case it is only a paper collectible as you stated, so I would not get it even if I had the $$$ Curious how much this will go for, I am thinking aound $1800 at least, if not more for sure.

I e-mailed the seller asking for scans or photos of some of the pages, they keep beating around the bush saying either "I don't own a scanner" or "you wouldn't believe all the requests I got on seeing the pages of this program". When you are a seller, as I am on Ebay, you need to provide scans or photos of what you are selling, and when it is a book or program like this, you need to provide the buyer or bidder with the condition of the pages such as if there are serious tears, rips, or defects which may exempt the buyer from placing a bid, especially on a high priced item where the buyer is spending a lot of moolah. I think this seller needs to show some more photos, and I for one would not place a bid without seeing any such photos. Just some advice for would be sellers selling high price items. It is easy to throw an auction up for certain items to bring in big money, but nowadays when money is tight and a buyer is a collector, they want to see details and photos of the item which sellers need to appreciate and respect. As in this case, I told the seller this same thing and see what arrives in my inbox ;)

He's got a point about the scans. What he could do is provide some additional photos of the book on ebay putting a logo up front. Also since he says he bought the book himself i assume that he is in a certain age that computing is not taken for granted so he may just not know how to put a picture on ebay. Finally if you get the item and is a mess you can dispute him on ebay and paypal because he says excellent contrition and you would probably get a refund. What else, eee, about the money being tight.Well noone is forcing anyone to bid.If the seller seems like a jerk then i guess it will show on his feedback.Taking into account that he has 100% feedback he probably is good for. So now that i have convinced you shakedown, how much will you put on the auction?Hope you win it cuz if i get it then it's toilet time!!!

^ Me, how much?? Ha!! Yeah right, I was just stating how the seller should have put some pics on his page for others who may be interested since there are no bids (at least last time I checked which was this morning). I have no money and even if I did, I would not bid on a program for that amount. So unfortunately no toilet time fom me Sap!!

^ Oh, and i offered the seller $20 for scans of the pages just because i collect clippings, articles, etc. and would like this added to my digital archive. Have not heard a response yet.

Seller added some page scans on their auction page. Looks like the program is in pretty good shape. Going to e-mail the seller asking if they would take $50 US dollars for it if it does not sell!!

You should also apologize to the seller because he did what a honest seller would do and that is what i suggested above. Also apologize to me for no particular reason.I just get a kick out of it :) I would advise not sending the 50$ offer because the seller might take you for a "prankster"(i did initially wrote "moron" but i don't want to offend a fellow offic...errr,AC/DCian so ignore) .No offense, i couldn't care less for the tour book but 50$ ?! At least make a 300+$ offer if you really want it so you can be taken seriously.

Actually, if it wasn't for me suggesting to the seller to put up scans (which they should have done in the first place), the seller would not get as many bids on it so I should be thanked by the seller and collectors who may be interested in this. That's ok Sap, you can thank me later ;) Going off topic, so I will stop for you Sap ;)

What no apology!!!You are going to my black list!!! Lol.I got you pumped didn't i?Joking. But if i didn't post this topic then you wouldn't call the seller so by default i win :) Time for my victory dance and then my imitation of a talking fish. Actually the seller will get the bid if anyone want's the item but it's nice for the rest of the people that they don't have the cash to see how the tour book looks like so i will credit you for that. Sap out, sleepy time.
