Going to try and film an upcoming Hell's Belles show...
Well, I'm going to yet another HB show here in Spokane, and this time, I am going prepared. During the last time I went and saw this all-female tribute band, I had borrowed a friend's camcorder, and when I started to film that show, a staff member at the venue (The Knit) came up to me and asked me "Did they give you permission to videotape?" I politely told this guy no and I put the cam away. Later on, I saw other people take out their cams and cell phones and they were filming the band. That was a big disappointment to me :( After the show, I made promises to get that permission. I had contacted Hell's Belles via Facebook (no, I will not give you my FB name so don't bother asking) and email and have gotten responses. They were sorry that the little incident happened, and said that they actually do not mind being videotaped whatsoever. I later screen-printed those responses and printed them on pieces of paper to show any Knit staff member that I have proof of permission to film. HB said I did not need permission and that they allowed videotaping, but just for the hell of it, I'm bringing those pieces of paper anyway, because those staff people are probably gonna ask for proof anyway. Now I can't make promises to get the whole show, but I will try to get most of the concert as possible. Wish me luck, guys!
Good luck AC/DC Doctor. I still have yet to see them live. Need to do that the next time they are on this side of the state. I do have lots of new goodies so drop me and email and maybe we can set something up.
I successfully filmed the entire HB show. I had to show my proof of permission to the Knit's staff members and everything, and they accepted it. The cam I was borrowing from a friend worked pretty well. Good video quality, and it even held the very loud indoor sound okay. Now I have yet to edit and burn the recorded video onto a DVD. I'll add the video to my tradelist when I get finished burning. NOTE: I was gonna tell ya guys this last night after the show, but I was very tired and had gone to bed, so I had to wait until morning to post ;)

Here are the first songs they played that I filmed: Hells Bells Rock 'N' Roll Train I'm trying to upload all of the songs, but it'll take a while due to my not-so-fast high speed internet (fuckin' Comcast.) I also have the video burned to a DVD and I added it to my tradelist (see the link in my signature below.)
arya925: Perhaps this YouTube playlist I created might answer your question about the show's setlist...
good stuff doc and for sharing what you recorded.
Man, I wish we could get you to one of our shows to film :(
Thanks ACDCDoctor for sharing this wonderful show. Nice work on the footage also ;)
I made some covers for this awesome show that ACDCDoctor posted here. Nothing fancy, but thought this show definitely needed some covers. Enjoy folks ;) http://s1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg622/shakedownice1/Hells%20Belles/
Thanks Shakedown! Those are really nice covers =D
^ Thanks Doc and the dvd artwork you got there is awesome. Love the title 'Live At The Knit'!!
Yep, named after the short nickname of the venue that this show was at. I forgot to mention this next part. Believe it or not, the girls themselves were actually impressed with my videos, they're gonna hook me up a press pass the next time I go to another show of theirs. That way I won't have to bring those papers with the FB posts and email messages to show any venue staff members. This is definitely a big opportunity for me, and I can't wait until next time ;)
^ Cool, all your efforts paid off by simply asking permission for taping their show! Now you even get a pass for the next time. Nice job Doc ;)
If somehow my tribute band ends up in Spokane, we are definitely getting you a press pass also lol
