Ok Heres my problem, On Ebay I bought myself a copy of Let There Be Rock, The Movie, BUT I realized as soon as I got it that it is in PAL Format. Does anyone have either a VHS Ripper, or converter. What I want is a DVD Version of this. If your stumped, pretty much what I want is my Video onto DVD.

acdcUSSR has a 2 DVD version ripped from the VHS. I think it'd be easier to just ask him for a trade.

You know I would, but I don't have anything to trade him I think, he has everything I have. Thank you rhece, greatly appriciated.

I would upload it to DIME, but as you know, it's official material. An AC/DC tracker would be AWESOME! Angusaholic, I have a VHS > DVD capture box that I no longer need (I'm getting a new one). If you want to buy it from me, you could convert it that way. PM me if you're interested. PM me anyway with your new bootlegs and we'll go from there.

Hey USSR, how much do you think a good ripper would run for? PS, I can tell you that a straight AC/DC tracker wouldn't be neccesary, since you of course could use another tracker that's already out there.

A good VHS > DVD ripper? I got a card (get a card, not USB. much better) for about $70. Works pretty good. I have a USB one that only does VCDs, not DVDs. It was $60, but I bought it for $20. Also, I have heard it's better to go VHS > DV > PC than VHS > PC. Probably because the DV transfers directly from the tape, rather than capturing, but I'm sure either is good. VHS > stand alone recorder is supposed to be the worst you can go.

I've heard that some standalones don't do worth a crap. Will have to look into a card then, since I plan to see if I can make DVDs of concerts (might be a few years) that I have taped myself from TV, and make conversions of old tapes my mom has.
