t i use dbpoweramp myself [http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm] it is a pretty powerful little tool for converting between just about any audio format. you can find codecs to install for it for just about any file type as well in 'codec central' [http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm] i hope this helps

would this also work with flac? i'm trying to figure out how i can burn my flac files onto CD, without losing too much of the good quality on it

You should get FLAC Fronthead Fudge, it will convert the files to WAV Files, which will then be able to be burnt onto CD, if you have any questions, Go On MSN ok fudge.

If you use Nero to burn your music CDs... there are free plug-ins that you can install, and that way you don't need separate programs to convert FLAC or SHN to WAV..(suppose google should find that no problem) It also saves you time and hard drive space by converting to WAV and burning to CD in 1 step

Nero works just fine for me, I have FLACamp and SHNamp installed, still haven't tried burning SHNs, awkward format.

The guide applies to:

• Convert SHN files to MP3, M4A, AAC, AIFF, Apple lossless ALAC, etc, to play SHN files in Mac OS X, iPhone, iPod, iPad, iTunes, QuickTime, etc, and it will not lead quality loss if you convert SHN to AIFF and Apple lossless ALAC;
• Convert SHN to WAV and WMA etc to play SHN files in Windows, Windows Media Player, Windows Movie Maker, etc, and WAV is another lossless audio format so you'd better to convert SHN to WAV;
• Convert SHN files to MP3, WAV, etc for playback on Android phones like Samsung Galaxy, HTC, ZTE, Nokia, LG, Motorola, Acer, etc;
• Convert SHN to many other formats like DTS Digital Surround Audio, SUN AU, MP2, FLAC, OGG, RA, CAF, etc for widely use.
