Ok, so can anyone answer this question for me. I'm reading here online from rollingstone.com an article that was published back in 1980(?). The article's post date says October 30, 1980. It goes on to describe the concert and the venue, country and etc. and then I go to look in the concert history section on here.. and it starts to get confusing, with dates and venues not adding up. First of all, according to the concert history, the guys didn't play on the 30th of October, 1980, as says the posted date online (if said date is as originally posted). The history also says it was in England they played on the 29 & 31. The article says in the U.S. on the 30. and he says Bad Boy Boogie was played 3rd, but the history lists both the 29 & 31 as having played Bad Boy Boogie 5th... Can anyone clarify??

There's an old saying "If something can be bought at the market and it's not put out or funded by the band it's most likely not true".... For instance, one of four boot LPs from a GREAT Swedish source once dated two songs from a S.F. gig on the compilation LP, " Live '77 " as being from 1977/09/01; which in the band never played on that date. The concert history may be wrong. It was compiled by fans about 10-15 years ago when it wasn't as easy to find data. Or the Rolling Stone guy could be full of crap, it's hard to say. If the dates aren't on acdc.com, I'd check on ac-dc.net as Arnaud has an amazing site and I often use it if things don't add up on my end.

The article is from the Rolling Stone magazine dated: October 30, 1980. It is not a daily paper, but a monthly magazine, therefore the article was not about a show on Oct. 29 or 30, 1980. The article describes the show in Milwaukee, WI, on September 13, 1980. I hope this clears this matter up for you! Let there be rock!
