As most of you might know, you can hear some jeering and booing near the end of the studio version of The Jack, where Bon says "Thank you I'm glad you like the show..." I wonder why the band added some crowd jeering there, maybe as a joke? Does anyone here might know why the band added some booing and jeering at the end of the studio version of The Jack?

I think just for a joke. According to Bon,the idea for "she's got the jack" song came after a "gonorrhea experience"(!) they had when the band used to jam all day long,in the early days, and they were surrounded by,the so called, "A.D.I.D.A.S. chicks". * A.D.I.D.A.S.: All Day I Dream About Sex! ha ha ha

Jim, I remember seeing a thread about this either on here or another forum regarding this and I believe as Send4theman stated, it was just a joke, nothing else. I laugh every time I hear this song mainly because of this part which shows Bon's humorous side as usual ;)

^^Thanks for the info guys. I was just curious. Ya know, I always thought the band had added the jeering in response to the record company for not letting them record the original gonorrhea version of the song at the studio. But then again, it was a joke =D

Kind of like at the end of "Night Prowler" where Bon quotes Robin Williams character Mork. I read somewhere that since the song was so dark, Bon threw that in to lighten the mood.

And at the beginning of shot down in flames you here a guy go "woah" before bon says it. Not really for laughs but still one of those cases where you here someone in the background.

I don't know how i am stuck with the idea but i always thought it was Phil Rudd shouting the "woah".

Sapator, hahahaha, I have always been stuck on Malcolm shouting woah! This would be some good trivia to find out.

I've ALWAYS been a bit disappointed that the crowds at AC/DC concerts don't actually boo at the end of The Jack. Wouldn't that be a shock for the band and hopefully they'd know it was in the right spirit!!!
