Contributions (lack of)
In light of many not contributing or seeming to help another member's requests here, I am limiting what I post and will no longer contribute here. I am sick and tired of seeing only a few like myself who contribute, while others who respond make excuses like they are away from their PC, at the beach (give me a break!!), or other lame excuses. If you have time to post on a weekly basis, or especially those who do almost every day (you know who you are), then you can dig up your boots and do some uploading as myself, Send4theman, ACDCDoctor, Arya95, Hells Death, Big Jack, and a few others who always respond and help out their fellow ACDCian. I could dig up a lot of my posts which went unanswered, and added new replies only to still get nothing. I know I have gotten replies to my posts, but I am referring to when it comes to particular shows that one looks for and I know out of all the members here, someone has these and could help. I try and help out as much as I can, and believe me I have done my share by helping others out with shows at their request, plus posting others on my own. I also have sent many, many links to those who PM me on shows also. However, when I need a show, it seems no one seems to want to upload or provide anything. There are a few like I mentioned who help, but sems a lot of posts go unanswered. Like I said, I think Nate needs to eliminate 80% of the 25,000+ people here taking up space who do not contribute and just troll for links. I stand by what I say, and nothing anyone says will change my thoughts and views. I am sure there are others who agree with me, especially those who are always seeming to help. I have a life too, which is another excuse I hear, but face it, polls everywhere say social sites are becoming more important than even a marriage, so many people are on blogs, forums, etc. and still find time to spend with their loved ones. I know I do. So that is not an excuse to use IMHO. Said my peace, Thanks Scott
You're absolutly right by saying that! I sometimes had the feeling that there are just an hand full of people doing something here and help out others! And the others just benefit from the post of this hand full of people!
^ Exactly, trolling for links or free BOTMs. This is why I suggested only BOTM + giveaways open to those who have posted within the past month or a different reasonable timeframe. Nate refused to go with that idea many agreed with. Oh well.
I guess it's harder to find links to shows since a year or two. Luckily for me i got a shitload from around 2005 to the end of the last tour in 2010, when they were still relatively easy to find here and there thanx to some really cool people/sites/forums etc. If you're looking for any particular shows just PM me and i'll see what i can do for you. I'll be glad to help you out.
I wish I could contribute more but I don't have anything to contribute lol. I'm just a teenager in a candy shop listening to all the grown-ups talk about my favorite band and once in a while I can chime in but most of the stuff regarding boots, I'm clueless about.
