Let It Loose Upgrade + Alright Tonight Suggestion

Hey everyone, so I first wanna say I love this new mix of Let It Loose I got from a simple idea. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of it. Basically, there's this trick in audacity meant to remove (centered) vocals, but it worked the opposite on this and more evened the whole track out. Sadly this, leaves the track in mono, not stereo, but its lossless at least. I tried this on Alright tonight as well and found out that Alright Tonight's vocals from Brian are a lot more centered than I thought. This makes me think someone can use that information to their advantage to mix it, but it's just an idea. I'm no pro at audio mixing either :P Anyways, here's the link for Let It Loose http://minus.com/mAyjwR8ZV/ Enjoy as always and Cheers!!

Nice! best one yet man. Similar to what I did to my recent Fly On The Wall studio attempt, Only I kept it in stereo, you can find the vid of that on my channel.

Yeah, I know it :P But nitro, I'm sure you know what I was talking about with audacity?? The problem is, is that once it's inverted, and with both channels in mono, it automatically mixes it into a single channel upon export, unless I'm missing something. ...Come to think of it, I could always load it twice and set it as a right and left channel, but only for the sake of having a "stereo" track of it

I know exactly what you're talking about Hells, lol. What I did wasn't converting it to mono though, while it still does use the "canceling effect" that inverting does. Because of your post here, you made me get to thinking and I tried that same process that I used on Sink The Pink on Alright Tonight and it has given some great results. Will be a posting shortly lol. This is why it's better to have 4 ears instead of 2, hearing your mix gave me an idea for mine. (: it's like accidental teamwork haha

It's really good!! Best I've heard it yet! Brian's a tad low but that's all I can say, since it's amazingly clear and not to hard sounding on my ears :P Nice job Nitro! :)

IMHO, "A.T." would be better yet under a supervised recording environment; the structure is set yet would like to hear more background vocals in efforts of assisting Brian to let'um know it's gonna be 'Alight Tonight'. Everyone singing 'I do, I do'. "Let It Loose"......needs to be taken back to paper and pencil
