Have been wanting to do this gig for a long time, have never been able to get it "right", until now that is.For some reason,Simon's cymbals where always way overpowered with too much treble, too the point where it was almost painful to listen too. There is almost zero crowd noise,as this has been taken straight from the mixing desk, most likely not having any mics pointed towards the audience. I've managed to turn Simon down and bring out some bass, and balance out the recording to be a bit easier on ears, and hopefully have made it a better bootleg overall. ________________________________________________ Setlist: 01.Shoot To Thrill 02.Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 03.Back In Black 04.Heatseeker 05.That's The Way I Wanna Rock 'N' Roll 06.Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution 07.High Voltage 08.Whole Lotta Rosie 09.Let There Be Rock 10.Highway To Hell 11.T.N.T. 12.For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) ____________________________________________ (Not the complete gig, missing Who Made Who and You Shook Me All Night Long.) **There are versions of this bootleg that include those 2 songs, however they are NOT from this show, they are from the Irvine Meadows show from '86, which sounds very similar to this concert, being that it is a straight from the mixing board recording with little to no audience as well.** https://hotfile.com/dl/174967233/ce3ec42/Melbourne88.rar.html -Cheers, and Enjoy Everyone! Still not a perfect sounding gig,it still has it's flaws, but hopefully an improvement over the versions you may already have.

Excellent work. The guitars are still a bit low, but at least the bass is audible. If only an audience recording of this gig existed (that would sync to this one...analog tape does stretch over time)...imagine how great this would sound...it would practically be perfect. I did have a problem where your files didn't have a proper header though...they played, but without bitrate or time codes. I re-encoded them in Foobar and they are fine now.

Ah yes, that happens usually when I have to convert .wav to Flac using Total Video Converter. I was going to post the .wav files but the .zip file was too large (over 400mb) and Hotfile wouldn't allow me to post it. The .wav files are with correct info. but Total Video Converter likes to wipe them out it seems, lol. The important thing is that they still play correctly and are still lossless though.

An audience boot would be amazing to have, crowd along with that extra acoustic sound would give this boot some more life/breathing room.

Yeah, Foobar is ten times better at encoding audio to FLAC than TVC. Plus it's free and has ability to add ReplayGain tags and (on the most recent versions) album art tags and artist / album info.
