AC/DC, Hippodrome London Golders Green, London, 1977
I was wondering if anyone has the london 1977 concert in video, not the rock masters version, but the sight and sound concert at least broadcasted from bbc or vh1. I do remember see the full sight and sound concert on youtube, but sadly got deleted by some stupid company that I forgotten. If anyone has the full concert in video. Then PM me please. :D
Sadly, I only have the Rock Masters one, so I can't help you there :( Let me tell you a little story. The last time VH1 Classic aired a BBC concert (whether it was AC/DC or other bands) was about a year and a half ago. I tried recording the 'DC Rock Goes to College concert but the idiots over at Comcast, my former cable provider, ruined my recording by issuing one of those required EAS tests. I haven't seen a rerun of the concert since then, so the show is presumed cancelled. I even tried mailing VH1 a letter a while back, asking them to air the BBC concerts again but they never responded, those greedy bastards >:( Hopefully, maybe someone else will provide you a link of the Hippodrome video. Good luck ;)
Those greedy bastards lol. Thanks for you help there doc.
I too sent a letter to VH1 as ACDCDoctor did, even called them when I got no response, had no luck ;(
^^ At least we tried sending those letters to VH1 ;)
Well you are at least lucky that you have vh1, I come from Australia, so we never have channels to see these promos and stuff. The only way we can look at stuff like bootlegs (ect) is to go on the internet... :l but anyway hope to see a bootleg or broadcast recording of this in the vault or somewhere. But for now we need to make do what we have....
^^ Sadly, I no longer get any VH1 channels as of June 2012 :( When I moved to the other side of my home state of Washington a few months ago I switched cable providers and got a limited basic cable package, which does not include VH1 channels :( On the plus side however, at least I was able to record some great 'DC-related stuff when I had the channel, including the live music videos for For Those About to Rock and Put the Finger on You from Landover in '81, which I sent links to most of you here ;)
