Bonus Tracks 7,5 out of 10. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here´s a request that goes out to fellow Dimer "YURA_TNT". This show must have been up here before, but this is a fresh 2012 transfer from my old tape, received in a trade back in 1981/82. After doing some research I´ve also found out that this show has been traded/ uploaded with a wrong date. I´ve always had this one listed as April 29 1977. But the last date AC/DC played in Europe 1977 was in Göteborg, April 22. After that show the famous "knife incident" happened between Malcolm and Geezer Butler. The result was that AC/DC got kicked off the remaining part of the tour, and missed the following dates: April 23, Oslo, Norway and April 24, Helsinki, Finland. I´ve also added some bonus tracks from Long Beach, CA September 10 1979. Unfortunatly these are the only 4 songs excisting from this show. Guess the taper had some bad batteries, you can hear this at the end of Problem Child. Hope you all will enjoy this nice little piece of music history. ***** And please don´t share this one in any lossy format. ***** ***** Uploaded on Dime by Hard2Handell October 31 2012 ***** # MD5 checksums generated by MD5summer (http://www.md5summer.org) # Generated 2012-10-31 14:48:30 4105ada595de683f6408c62befa2622b *Track 01.flac 0ea45986492f749a8f6b1aa7d775992c *Track 02.flac d73716f2958cd5c6a2b0fe6f067df13e *Track 03.flac f3f10e2b27111e6077612661fb3665b5 *Track 04.flac dd29204e492b07777e6f47b2a4dc2e9c *Track 05.flac 00d49738934741bd71de1b70e05dd0cc *Track 06.flac 313f3ef0c5edd6508e86ac35e42a1510 *Track 07.flac c5803b49561484266b1b39b2c50a356e *Track 08.flac 56d5bbd17493ca64019e583049278efa *Track 09.flac Setlist: 01. Thanks for the show Jeffro! acdc74: The April 7th show is real. The band got kicked out of the rest of the tour with Black Sabbath after the incident with Malcolm. The April 29 show is a fake. Cheers.
Riff Raff, Here is the confusion about 1977-04-07 vs. 1977-04-29. I agree that 4/29 is PROBABLY the fake date and here are the reasons why......please bear with the explanation.... According to the Maximum Rock & Roll (Engleheart and Durieux) book on pg. 195, the Malcolm/Geezer fight took place at the pub after the Volkhaus Zurich, Switzerland show. That date would have been 4/14/77 as confirmed by acdcbootlegs.com, acdc.com and Electric Shock. Most traders have this bootleg as well. The reasoning of 4/29/77 as being a fake strictly because they got booted off the tour with Black Sabbath is NOT the easy, valid reason since there were more shows together after the hotel bar incident. The book goes on to say on pg. 195 that the tour was cut short when the final dates in Stockholm and Helsinki were cancelled. Here is even more confusion since Durieux's own website ac-dc.net Electric Shock actually lists the cancelled tour dates to be 4/23/77 Oslo, Norway and 4/24/77 Helsinki, Finland. It lists AC/DC as having played Stockholm, Sweden on 4/20/77. More confusion…in the Mark Evans book Dirty Deeds on pg. 210, Mark lists the fight as having took place in Brussels, Belgium which would have made it April 16, 1977 but he admits to not being there at the time of the incident and only getting a second-hand report. AC/DC did NOT get booted off the tour right away and that the following dates (of which we have 3 bootleged shows) were shows that AC/DC still opened up for Black Sabbath even after the fight. These were not strictly club dates by AC/DC themselves. These dates are also confirmed by acdcbootlegs.com. Electric Shock and acdc.com I have the AC/DC bootleg for 4/21/77 at the Olympen in Lund, Sweden and the Black Sabbath bootleg for 4/21/77 at the Olympen called Killing Yourself To Die. That would confirm that AC/DC was still playing shows with Black Sabbath after the toy flick-knife comb incident. The Electric Shock website also confirms that AC/DC were still on the Sabbath tour after the incident but as mentioned, the last 2 dates were cancelled prior to the tour coming to the United States. • Zurich, Switzerland, Volkshaus ***(We all have this bootleged show) Apr 14 Apr 14th 1977 / Zurich, Switzerland / Volkshaus • Brussels, Belgium, Cirque Royal Apr 16 Apr 16th 1977 / Brussels, Belgium / Cirque Royal • Amsterdam, Holland, De Nieuwe Rai Congrescentrum ***(We all have this bootleged show) Apr 17 Apr 17th 1977 / Amsterdam, Holland / De Nieuwe Rai Congrescentrum • Hamburg, Germany, Ernst Merck Halle Apr 18 Apr 18th 1977 / Hamburg, Germany / Ernst Merck Halle • Kobenhavn, Denmark, Falkoner Centret Apr 19 Apr 19th 1977 / Kobenhavn, Denmark / Falkoner Centret • Stockholm, Sweden, Konserthuset Apr 20 Apr 20th 1977 / Stockholm, Sweden / Konserthuset • Lund, Sweden, Olympen ***(We all have this bootleged show) Apr 21 Apr 21st 1977 / Lund, Sweden / Olympen • Goteborg, Sweden, Scandinavium ***(We all have this bootleged show) Apr 22 Apr 22nd 1977 / Goteborg, Sweden / Scandinavium According to Maximum Rock & Roll on pg. 196, Mark Evans was fired on May 3, 1977 and his last performance was on the Sabbath tour in Gothenburg, Sweden on April 22, 1977. This would confirm that shows were still happening with Sabbath after the knife incident and that this was the last show prior to the cancelled Oslo and Helsinki dates on 4/23 and 4/24/77. Hence, 4/29/77 is a fake and should be erased off of Nate’s site. GAP IN TOURING TIME and then Cliff joins the band officially on May 27, 1977 according to pg. 197 of Maximum R&R. I believe we can assume that the She’s Got Balls live version from Bonfire is from one of the two shows listed below from the Bondi Lifesaver. • Sydney, NSW Australia, Bondi Lifesaver Jul 07 Jul 7th 1977 / Sydney, NSW Australia / Bondi Lifesaver • Sydney, NSW Australia, Bondi Lifesaver Jul 08 Jul 8th 1977 / Sydney, NSW Australia / Bondi Lifesaver Etc. Etc. on the rest of the 1977 dates…. Thanks for your time Scotty from Detroit (acdc74)
