Bon Scott statue Kirriemuir
Thought i would post this link for pledges for getting a statue of bon erected in his home town of Kirremuir. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dd8music/bon-scott-statue-kirriemuir
I just wondered where all the income that Bon's estate recieves from airplay and record sales and image sales, goes to as i understand he had no children or siblings and him parents are dead, where does the money go ?
Sadly Spen, I read in one of the biography books ("Highway To Hell" I believe) that the incomes Bon does not even see and everyone else makes money off of him like those selling shirts, posters, naming a street, or anything related to Bon. I know in an older 2006 article I read online, it stated his ex-wife Irene Thornton wanted to auction off some of Bon's personal belongings which drew outrage from some fans. My guess would be the current members of the band if no living family, but I could be wrong.
