Can this 12 of the best really be real ?, it will take 9000 UK pounds to find out. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221268167336?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Something smells fishy about this one. Probably a fake, would not spend that much on something that could be a fake.

I must add after closely looking at the photos of the cassette, looks more authentic than the last fake of this one sold on Ebay not too long ago. The components such as screws used to hold cassette shell together and comparing this to the photos of the legit one here http://www.acdccollector.com/ultra.htm could make this one possibly legit. However, I don't think $15,000 for a first time seller is a fair price which not too many collectors will pay for ( I wouldn't). Maybe worth $5000 tops. Why would EMI or any record company give a rare cassette to a record store if it was only one of a few circulated? Again, some things to consider before bidding and hopefully this one is legit. This one seems more authentic than last one sold on Ebay, so hopefully this seller can get maybe half of what he is asking for, but doubt no one will pay his starting bid which should have been smaller.

I think it's unofficial print. Look here: http://ac-dc.net/collectors/rarities_albums.php Albert/EMI APLP.029 Side 1: It's A Long Way To The Top, High Voltage, Problem Child, T.N.T., Whole Lotta Rosie, Let There Be Rock. Side 2: Jailbreak, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, The Jack, Dog Eat Dog, She's Got Balls, Baby Please Don't Go. The ultimate rarity in any AC/DC collection. This album was in preparation by Alberts in 1978 but was never released. No record or test-pressing was actually ever manufactured, but a very small quantity of sleeves were printed. Certainly the rarest AC/DC item ever, due to the small print run and the fact that all copies remained in the Albert/EMI vaults, its inestimable value is hard to determine, but is without a doubt in excess of $5,000. Only a handful of collectors are known to posses this gem.

Here are some past posts and discussions on this rare cassette, including the last fake one sold on Ebay. http://acdc-bootlegs.com/forum/?messageid=35741&searchphrase=12%20of%20the%20best&searchforumid=all http://acdc-bootlegs.com/forum/?messageid=39376&searchphrase=12%20of%20the%20best&searchforumid=all http://acdc-bootlegs.com/forum/?messageid=19400&searchphrase=12%20of%20the%20best&searchforumid=all One for sure was made, and a few others known to have been possibly produced, I still have a gut feeling this one is not legit.

One thing I've learned, especially on the internet, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
