Updating the Site

Hi folks I've started working through updates for the site, including a new design, moving some sections around and hopefully making it more user friendly. I've asked a few of you about this already, but wanted to open it up to the entire Riff Raff. What would you like to see improved about acdc-bootlegs.com? I've already heard many times about sharing more bootlegs & at this time it isn't possible. One good request I did get was to have the search on the venue listing allow users to search by song. I'm going to try and include this, although it will only return concerts that have set lists submitted. So, that's the question. Please post your thoughts here. This is only about acdc-bootlegs.com. I'll be making changes to acdc-videos.com eventually, but this is a big job itself and i'm attempting to do it right the first time. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks, Nate

Hey bud, dunno how much work it'd take, but do you think it'd be possible to include picture covers for the bootlegs that have them (in the venue listings sect' maybe?)It's only a thought which i'm sure you've thunk, but it's probably the only thing i miss here. Cheers ;-)

Nate, The ONLY thing that I think needs improvement is some topics in the forum keep coming up as new even though there have not been any added posts. Keep up the exceptional work!!!!!!! Scotty from Detroit acdc74

I have to agree with you there Scotty. Between that and the lack of speed on the main page of the forum, it'll get revamped a bit.

I honestly think that some of the advertisements should be taken down, it makes the page look to cluttered to me. Its fine now, but when you had like 10 advertisements on the home page, thats a bit much.

thanks for the input. i personally didn't think it was that bad, but it's good to know how people feel. all advertisements will be limited to one area per page. the total number will also be limited so it doesn't get out of hand. These advertisements will be either for internal sections i'd like to promote, or actual advertisers if anyone is willing to throw in a few bucks to advertise. if nothing else, I'll get signed up with google and run with those.
