That is awesome...almost perfect Blu-ray quality (of course, digital cable compression is usually a bit worse, and it shows around the end of Highway To Hell).

Ran it through my Blu-ray player, looks incredible.

what is your blu-ray player?

i have a sony BDP-S5100 and it decodes 24/96 flac, ac3, 24/192000 wav only problem for me is it buffers and freezes up on a 4TB External Hard Drive

Sony BDP-S1200. I have it loaded to a generic flash drive, but I did use a remuxer to make it into an MKV file.

just curious why remux to mkv when you could just copy the .ts file

I like MKV, but I also made a 1080p mp4 file in Vegas and it plays just about the same.
