If songs like Riff Raff are shades of things to come, bring on the shades!

The way I see it is: They've lost everything, so they have nothing to lose. Now they can just go for it.

As awful as it was to lose Malcolm to dementia and Phil to meth/insanity/delusion-that-a-drummer's-side-project-will-sell-a-lot-of-records-in-the-download-era (or any era, for that matter), you can't deny that the band played with a renewed ferocity and long-lost edge on this tour, ill communication be damned (looking at you, High Voltage breakdown).

Axl has always had an edge (the insanity helps, the wheelchair probably will not), and his very presence will probably cause half the ticket-holders to ask for refunds anyways (but really, he is vocally and tonally a great fit, plus he loves their music and will probably insist on some deep cuts).

So really, just go out with a final bang, play whatever the fuck you want (Axl could probably kill Live Wire and It's a Long Way to the Top), don't be afraid to go deep and alienate (we're well past that point anyways) and then...

...Just hang it up...

AC/DC's dead, Gus, but the presence of the botoxed schoolboy is not...

GunsNAngus was a pretty cool surprise. There are so many bands that would love to have you step out on stage and rock them through an encore of one or more of your songs.

That is your future, bud, not keeping up a FauxC/DC charade beyond your contractual commitments to play a few more American and European shows...
