more computer problems
Hi folks My laptop has gone down again and has been sent in to be fixed...again. They received it Friday morning so i'm hoping for an update on it's status sometime today. So for now the video on acdc-videos.com is delayed. I'll do my best to keep up to date on any current trades & other arrangements, but do not have access to any saved messages in my email so it'll be interesting. If you need any info, please pm me. i should have my laptop back tomorrow. hopefully things will get back to normal after that, although i may have lost everything on it (which would be a bad thing). I'll find out more when it gets back home.
alright folks. I got my laptop back and everything was wiped out. The majority of my bootlegs are on an external drive or on disc, so I didn't lose much there. What I did lose was all of my software, a number of dvd projects & cover art/menu art I had in the works and all of my past email. but at least the thing runs. i'll be trying to get everything back into order over the next week or so.
yet another problem. Friday morning my power cord/ac adapter started on fire. no joke. i'm guessing a wire came loose in the cord, they crossed and it burned through the cable. i'm waiting on a replacement which should be here within the next few days. till then my laptop is dead from just checking my mail, so things are on hold yet again. I hope to have a new video posted by the end of the week, as well as get the new BOTM ready to roll. once again, don't buy toshiba laptops.
sorry to hear that Nate, good luck fixing it. I guess you can say the fire started from a "LIVEWIRE" haha
Hmm...lucky for me that when I bought mine, I got an Acer laptop. I've had it for around a month and no problems yet (well, except the Vista trickiness). But yeah, what Jeff said...Live Wire!
