still looking dvd ripper
i started this new post since there was a reply to the old one with a ripper, but he had one that does not read copy protected dvds, so i am still looking for one that does rip copy protected ones, so if you can show me some freeware or send me a serial number id appreciate it
use DVD Shrink - that's the best software for ripping DVDs
thanks, its working so well, alot better than i thought, thank you so much
Yeah, DVD Shrink is the best copying software, but for converting the videos into a "portable" format (Divx/Xvid/MPEG) you need another program, although TMPGenc 4 Xpress works great.
Shrink is actually horribly outdated, and can't handle most of the new copy protection schemes on DVDs. However, for copying a bootleg, it's good enough.
i donno, ive copied a couple dvds for myself and one for my buddy that were all copy protected and they turned out great
yeah, dvd shrink is great, but not totally up to date it doesn't work with some newer DVDs, especially Sony
Shrink can handle older copy protection, which I'm sure smaller companies still use. Sony indeed are cocksuckers with the copy protection. There's only a few DVD rippers that can break them. The one I use myself is DVD Fab Platinum. Easily found on any torrent site.
well ill keep that in mind in case, but one of the dvds ive burned is Borat, and thats a fairly new movie, and i got it just fine
I hate to put a delayed response...but I've tried to see if it'd work with Talladega Nights and it says "Invalid navigaton".
i also did it with talladega nights (as a test) and didnt have a problem, is it rented? or is it yours
Weird, I think it might be mine, will have to try it on my Vista system. Do you have anything else on your computer such as "AnyDVD"?
imTOO dvd ripper is a realyl good one too just need to look on the et for it's serial
