ATTENTION PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH SECOND VINE
hi, i am so sorry that i am so behind on this, it has seriously been a messed up couple of weeks, my girl friend recently moved in with me and i have had so much attention with her since shes been going through a hell of a time, and right before she came with me i was on vacation for awhile, andit has just been one heck of a time, i sincerely appogiz to you guys, but im having alot of issues at home (excluding the girlfriend) I am constantly running around to keep my leg up in the house for my parents to be able to keep her here, and am having a tough time pulling money being the fact im supporting us both when i was having a tough time supporting myself, so i feel really bad i haven't gotten this done, im even extremely behind on trades because of what has been going on, and i have to be away from my computer as much as possible nowadays because she starts a big arguement when i sit at my computer for more than a few minutes, so once again i appologize but am trying my hardest to come through, ok i will stop blabbing now, but i just got a PM involving the vine so i figured this would be the best way to let you guys know what is going on, just alot more than i should be able to deal with, so i hope you guys don't hate me for it and look at me as irresponsible, but thanks for reading this, please PM me if you need me about this thanks -Bill
Would have been best if you had posted this as a reply to the vine thread itself. I'll add a link from that thread to this one. Also, what is the resolution? Are you going to be able to send it out? And if so, when? Or are you just abandoning the vine altogether? If that's the case, then you need to make it known and ask for someone to carry on where you left off. Nate
oh no, i am the one with the DVD right now, but im trying to get a free hour to myself so i can get it burned properly, jst everytime i try to gt stuff done it turns into this big thing i have to do instead, and i am straight broke i cant even afford a school lunch, so thats another issue im having, but when i get that just a couple bucks im going to try my hardest to get it moving, thats why i posted the bulletin, because i am the one with the DVD and i know the DVD didnt get out untill about a month untill the vine ended and it was a mess to begin with and my problems havent been making it any better. So thats what i was talking about, but thank you Nate for bringing that to my attention, as i say i am open to anything people need to know if it wasnt clear enough, but i am trying my damn hardest to aim at this week, if i can find money that can be spared, because sparing even two dollars is becoming difficult lately.
Bill, I am not trying to be insensitive to your money situation but a blank DVD doesn't even cost $1. You were the first person to sign up on the vine and I used to see you on the hub all the time. If you didn't think that you would have the money or time to pass the dvd on, then you shouldn't have signed up in the first place. We have been waiting for this vine since MAY (4 full months) so kindly get the disc copied and mailed out. You mentioned that you need a free hour in order to get it burned properly. What program do you use? Most programs would consist of putting in the dvd and putting in a blank dvd and hitting copy so we are talking about a 2 minute project and then you can walk away. Please follow through. Thank you.
To keep things moving and get this vine finished, I've offered to take it up from Bill and send it on. Scotty, you should have it by next week. I'll send you a PM when I get it sent out. Nate
acdc74 yes i did used to be a biggie on the forum, and also true that i was right away to sign up for this vine, but this was back in may when i wasnt having these problems. The problems began at the beginning of this month right after i got the disc, and yes blank dvds do cost about a dollar a piece, i dont know how you purchase them but dvds in my area come in packages that cost 20 dollars, and me and my girl are living on 91 dollars every two weeks, im sorry i just dont have the money, as i said earlier i cant even afford lunch at school, this just turned into a big issue, im not trying to be a jerk about it but it really is a problem with my household lately, im even going to be putting my trades on hold untill i get back on my feet when it comes to money, im sorry but thats whats been happening, please understand where im coming from -Bill
I must confess that I'm a bit ashamed with these problems occuring in a vine that I created. But problems can appear at any time to anyone. So, Bill, I hope you can fix your problems soon. Nate, thanks for keep the vine going and avoid that Scotty needs to wait for one more month. Scotty, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks again for your patience.
No problem Mano. It hasn't stopped me from wanting to do vines. They are a great way to share. I think I might start one after this one is complete so all you guys can get some needed AC/DC material. Thanks

David (Angusaholic), I sent you an email response this morning to the email you sent to my private email address. I got the DVD this week (THANKS NATE!!!!!!!!!!!) and I am mailing you a copy tomorrow 10/15/07 to your Thunder Bay address where I have sent packages before.
