No Dolby Digital or DTS ?!?
I am very surprised that the Plug Me In dvd's do not offer dolby digitial or DTS surround sound. Are these first pressings defective or did they just not care ?
I agree. There are not any different camera angles or audio options. There are subtitles and it is good to see exactly what Bon is saying to the crowd. I want to know if there are any Easter Eggs on the discs. I will be putting together a big email soon about the discs. Many questions and requests will be made. Stay tuned.
This actually wouldnt make them defective (to correct my original posting) but they would be "misprints" if they meant to put the DD audio on them. Even the back of the box states "Dolby Digital" ! Anyways, what a great collection!
I think the Dolby Digital system might have been used to master the audio.
I wish the Houston 1983 show sounded better, where is the crowd?? sounds like it was recorded off the soundboard. great video however!! love bad boy boogie in 831
Can't go wrong with the sexy PCM audio, though.
Well, It's true...buy the 2-dvd at wal-mart and it has a different bonus disc than at best buy. the wal-mart version has 5 songs on it....live versions of Problem Child,Guns For Hire, For Those About to Rock,Stiff Upper Lip and another one that slips my memory at this time (brain fart). anyway thought you would want to know.
The track Jeff is looking for is "Let There Be Rock". But oddly, the discs and the booklets don't have the Dolby Digital logo on them...so it might have been an accidental design misprint. But I have both versions and both store exclusive bonus discs.
