New Album title
Hey I was just on wikipedia (yes I know that its not a good source of info) and when I went down to the discography it showed the new album title as Dirty Rhythm. Just wondering if there is any truth to it. SR
I don't know, maybe there is, maybe there isn't. Let's hope it is. Since it'd be the biggest break in AC/DC's silence since Plug Me In's initial rumors.
No New Album From AC/DC Quite Yet Evidently, the rock rumor mill has churned up a rumor that AC/DC was set to release a new album in January. I received word today that this particular rumor is unfounded. An e-mail from Sony Music states that "Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd don’t have an album coming out in January." It goes on to indicate that the new album is planned but is nowhere close to being released. In fact, they have not even started recording yet and no date has yet been set when recording will begin. It was also reported that the tentative title of the record is "Dirty Rhythm" and Mutt Lange is in talks to produce. The band hope to start touring next winter. The closing line of the e-mail says "Please, be patient," which sounds like a pretty good idea for the time being. Is the new album called Dirty Rhythm, Girls Got Eyes or Girls Got Deeds Done Dirt Cheap???? I am so confused. I really thought the new album was going to be called Highway to Voltage but I may be wrong. You get the point. FAKE per usual!! Some asshole using shitpedia!!!
It's the usual someone making a rumor cause they are a loser. (Not calling scooter a loser, calling said "editor" a loser) The Alberts Records president shot down "Strap It On" by running it by Malcolm and if anyone knows what the title of the next album will be, when it happens, it will be Malcolm. Or at least Cliff or Phil.
actuallly wikipedia is a very reliable source, yes theres always some prick who thinks its a good idea to go around changing things when they are not accurate on the information, if you want my opinion there, if you read something there, just wait a couple days to see if it still says it untill you begin to spread it, becuase even though someone changes things around, there are people who do reasearch on everything that is changed just so people dont give false information, hey try it yourself
Actually, Wikipedia's reliability has been decreasing steadily; vandalism and inaccurate information are rampant. So-called 'experts' in their fields are sometimes found to be liars, with no credentials at all, even though wiki has a policy of providing proof of any claimed expertise, they haven't enforced it as of yet. And be damned if anyone other than the person responsible for the article add any relevant information; it is usually deleted, with piss-poor reasoning given. And yeah, the new album title has since been deleted, since 'Dirty Rhythm' has been since shown to be false. But the fact that someone was gullible enough to think it was real, and then add it to Wikipedia, is just sad.
thats true very true, bit is still an extremely reliable source, but hey ya cant say anyone who believes Dirty Rhythym is gullible, i mean the band can surprise ya, i mean would you really expect them to release an album called Fly On The Wall when living in the Back In Black days? but yeah i see where your coming from with people just reading something and then immediately trying to pass it off as official news, but as we say, if its not on the official website, or some place official, dont bother with it too much
I'm not to worried about the title and as far as the music they can do Jim Nabors greatest hits for all i care as long as they hurry and get it out.I'm kiding of course I'm just tired of waiting and 8 years is a longwait.
