FULL Amsterdam November 12, 1979 needed
Riff Raff, Besides Nate having the FULL Amsterdam November 12, 1979 show and not being able to provide the needed tracks because I am assuming he had made a promise to a trader a long time ago, there has got to be someone else in the Riff Raff community that has the full show also. Many people now have the better sounding radio re-broadcast version including me BUT we still need the missing tracks of excellent quality of Live Wire, Rocker and LTBR for example. I believe that ALL bootlegs should be shared no matter what but I have to respect Nate's decision that his boot is not for trade. Yet, someone out there also has the full length excellent sounding version and there are many other Riff Raff / hub users I know that are crying out to get this one. Hopefully someone comes through so all the true fans get as many of bootlegs as possible. Thank you kindly. acdc74 (Scotty from Detroit)
Yeah, I would really like to get an excellent quality boot from the Highway To Hell tour, seeing as Let There Be Rock The Movie is average at best.
Travis, try to find the gig at the Hammersmith Odeon,London (i dont remember the month or date), its titled "Angus Cha Cha". Its in great quality (soundboard) and has rare live songs such as "walk all over you" and "if you want blood". I've got it if you dont already have it (seeing as your not really sure what you have) id be happy to send it to ya.
Oh yeah, I've got that one, but I was talking about one to show the shorter Highway To Hell tour sets. AC/DC were still doing short sets during the Highway To Hell tour, can you believe it?
yea, look at that Cleveland 79 gig, "world series of rock" i think it was called. they openened and had like a six song set
Eh Cleveland 79 wasn't a Higway To Hell gig though...they don't have any 'new' songs in the set. It's all older songs. When Brian came into the band it seems as though setlists became more stabilized. I have a 1979 version of It's A Long Way To The Top, and also it seems as though T.N.T. and If You Want Blood among others cycled in and out as 2nd to last song.
true true. wow i didnt know they played IALWTT on the highway tour.
It was just for the one show as far as I know of. They also included Baby Please Don't Go which was uncommon for that tour as well. December 17, 1979 - London, England
How about getting back to the issue at hand? Someone out there besides Nate has the FULL Amsterdam show and many people would like to get their hands on it. Can someone please share this? All bootlegs should be shared no matter how common or how rare they are. That is my opinion.
If it's any help you can get "Live Wire" from the Amsterdam 79 gig on the "Going Dutch" bootleg. I know it's not everything you want, but it's a start. I added it to my Jaap Edenhall and it does make a very big differance. Oh yeah, they played I.A.L.T.T.T. on November 17th 1979 Hammersmith Odeon. Not the best of sounds tough.
oop's sorry, I ment December 17th 1979.
Already have Live Wire from the Going Dutch bootleg but was hoping for the excellent sound version. Need the remaining tracks from Amsterdam that are not being shared. What happened about sharing the music to the real fans of the band. I am very disappointed that this hasn't happened yet.
