Love Song
i've heard rumors and am having a tough time confirming it myself, is it true Angus plays an acoustic guitar in this song? im very curious and find this rumor fasinating, thanks guys
I've listened to it, and it doesn't sound acoustic to me. Unless it's mixed in to be a second or third rhythm. That's the only way I could think of. Will have to listen again to see if I can hear it.
LOVE SONG was released in 1975 on High Voltage album in Australlia. Not only is there acoustic but soft melody guitars and pianos. In short its a love song. This is one song amongmany others I wish they would realese in America. The song I think is about his wife at that time.
It would be cool to see the Australian Releases get released over here, with proper (not compressed) remastering.
surprised they didn't just release an expanded version of Jailbreak '74 with the missing tracks
Yeah, but I think it was a Sony vs AC/DC vs Alberts thing. AC/DC probably wanted the Australian albums released internationally, but Alberts wanted to have a bigger share then, but Sony wouldn't give Alberts more money for the masters... (This is a complete theory of course) Now, the Australian albums MAY get re-released at some point in the future, but no one knows yet. It's like the whole Stiff Upper Lip re-release. I initially heard 2010, but it got re-released here in 2007.
yeah thats completely true, apparently at first an AC/DC album has to be ten years old to be considered a remaster in the AC/DC remasters thing, and it was just sprung on us, the only album that follows this rule too. excluding the bonfire set, being that it was originally released in '97 and epic has it out long before 2007, not sure how long but i know ive been seeing it by epic long before 2007, so as i said if thats excluded, then Stiff Upper Lip is the only album to escape that rule, this was the original rule, seeing how Ballbreaker wasnt in the 2003 remasters, but remasted in late 2005, just ten years after original release, so how this happened is a mystery to me
