does anyone know if the audio on this Live At Donington dvd in this set is fixed as well, the reason i ask of course as looking for regular audio, but since this release was not by epic, i wonder if its the same or not, thanks for your help
Seeing as it's in the (imho, dumb) digi-pak case, then yeah, it's probably the same disc, just relabeled. Epic and Columbia both are divisions of Sony Music I noticed this odd thing though when I was looking at a copy of it at my local Wal-Mart, Live At Donington has the CMV (Columbia Music Video) logo on it, no longer Epic, the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap CD has the Columbia label on it, but Back In Black had the Epic label still on it. That brings me to this: Don't tell me there still is some legal shit that is going to hold up the new album for another six months while AC/DC as a band has to hang low while it straightens out. It seems like that is the most logical thing, or otherwise AC/DC would've had an album out two or three years ago, a year or so back, they were moved from Epic to Columbia. My personal knowledge on label shifts says that when a company is shifted around, releases get held up. That being said, AC/DC might have already been recording, but seperately, as the band as an unit could not record new stuff. (Granted this is all the ramblings of myself at 12:21 AM Dec. 22, 2007 and is probably not even focused)
PS. I will most likely pick up a copy, for posteriority and to check Donington out. But what I really want to know is, did they screw up the audio on the Blu-Ray release...seeing as that will be the deciding factor in whether or not I trust Sony to re-release something and make it good in the future.
