i believe that the best software that converter shn to mp3 is SUPER 2007 build23 its a software that it can converter all the types of music also, it can converter videos to audio!!! i sometimes use this software or, also you can use the dbpowerAmp

An easy and popular converter is dBpowerAMP. I'm working with it since two years and its very easy to use.

Well, I use a program called "foobar2000" with an addon that allows you to play SHN files. I convert all of the SHNs I download into FLACs like that, since I like FLAC's ability to have tags. Also, I like foobar's ability to use ReplayGain info and even scan for addition of info.
