Site Idea
Nate i know you don't care much about interviews and stuff, but i personally (i don't know how many people will agree) love to collect them) and i thought it would be cool to have a special section in the concert history page that had a list of all the interviews, where/when they were, if an audio or video recording of them still exists, in chronological order. just an idea..
In my opinion, this idea is cool. There is so much interview-material on tape and video and nobody knows the exact date or place really.
I'll keep it in mind, sounds like a cool idea. Will have to be member driven since I don't know much about the interviews. I'll see what I can come up with.
hey Nate, this is a bit off topic but how is the members section coming along?
very slow. I believe I have the trade list, blog and collection pages done, but probably won't get much further for quite a while. I've taken on a number of side jobs to make some extra money, so I'll have to cut back my time I put toward improving the sites. I'm going to test out setting up a few trade lists and will see how that goes. If it goes well, I will make a announcement in the February newsletter saying they are open for business. The main page of the members section will be pretty lame to start, but it will give me something to work from.
ok thats cool. im not about to die waiting, so do what you gotta do. i think its an excellent addition to the site and i cant wait to see how it looks. also are the trade lists going to be like they are now or will they be a bit simpler?
Something new - this sound good Nate. I can remember in mid 80 nad begin 90's there where some piture discs with interviews from the guys available. The main problem is always that you it seems not to get - mmhh let's say good and trusted information from the guys. The interveiws are always or better sometimes a little strange. But funny. I had the chance - I think in 1986 to have an interview with Brian in Hamburg Germany. I should have it on tape - but where???? 20 years not seen or touched. That can be hard to find.
